Cherry Chouffe is a cherry beer from @chouffe_belgium not surprisingly it pours a cherry red colour and the aromas are purely of sweet cherry. The taste is really nice cherry with a tart finish. It’s a thick and full-bodied drink that manages to be sweet and bitter, its so morish, really just a pleasure to drink. I was genuinely upset when it was all gone. Drive Away Dolls is a 2024 Comedy from Ethan Coen, we follow Margaret Qualley and @Yoyogeraldine as they, for very different reasons, embark on a road trip to Tallahassee. Unfortunately for them the car they are due to deliver has some unusual freight and there is a group of inept criminals chasing them down. What we get is 90 minutes of compelling fun, and the key word his fun if you just take it for the simple buddy comedy it is you’ll have a great time. Its ruder and funnier than I was expecting and I really liked the whole films concept. The two leads are fantastic and there are some fantastic cameos and supporting roles, especially from @Beaniefeldstein. I had a great time watching this film and was shocked when I read the reviews surrounding it. I recommend pairing these as they initially might not seem appealing, but they are both light, fun and very enjoyable and sometimes that is what we are looking for. Ifeel like both of these could be enjoyed anywhere, anytime. The beer could be drunk at bbqs in the summer of when keeping warm inside likewise the film is light yet compelling enough to be watched anytime. This was a really fun but well-made pairing that deserves to be enjoyed by as many people as possible. Part mystery thriller but 100% a comedy, Margaret Qualley & Geraldine Viswanathan star as a couple of besties who decide to travel across the states in search of a fresh start but get caught up in some mafia-esque shenanigans. With each passing minute this kept surprising me with twists and turns and I wasn’t sure where it was going. I have been told by friends that if I ever directed a feature length film, it would be a film like “The Nice Guys.” I am still trying to figure out if that’s a compliment or an insult. 😂 This film is an incredibly witty action-comedy from the king of the action-comedy, Shane Black. Set in late 1970s Los Angeles, it follows Holland March (Ryan Gosling) and Jack Healy (Russell Crowe) as they look for a missing young lady, Amelia (Margaret Qualley). They slowly realize that there is much more at play, way above anything they could handle. In concept this film sounds like it was something someone dared Shane Black to make and he made it…and it turned out incredible! 😂 Gosling and Crowe bounce of each other so well. Their banter is on point. The actress playing Gosling’s daughter, Angourie Rice, was incredible. In her first major role in a film she managed to stand out next to actors like Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe. Overall “The Nice Guys” is a great film that I love going back to whenever I have a chance. I highly recommend checking this one out if you have not yet!
