Let’s talk about TRAVEL!!! 😃✈️ We have done more than 50 flights in Camilla’s 2 short years of life. My hack for smooth travel and keeping baby happy is? Being in tune with her potty needs!! Here is a picture of from last summer, delayed on the tarmac, unable to go to the bathroom. She started getting very squirmy and “difficult”. Rather than feeling frustrated and helpless, I was able to help her stay comfortable and happy while we were stuck. It turns out, she just needed to empty her bladder. ☺️ So so easy, so quick, no mess, no trying to change a diaper in a teeny tiny space. 10/10 recommend to parents who love to travel! What did we do for our four night stay in Paris? Well, we really dropped in because it’s the European New York - so it was the easiest city to run errands and grab everything we needed but we didn’t skip out on some sight seeing either! 🎄Rue Montorgueil - Right by our Airbnb: Beautiful Christmas lights, shops and restaurants 🥖 We had the same breakfast everyday. 😂 With kids and wanting to get from place to place, there’s not a ton of time to try new things. So @midore_paris was our go-to for yogurt for the kids, pastries for all of us, and some good coffee 🚗 @feuvertfrance Ok, we were looking EVERYWHERE for a portable fridge that we can plug into the rental. With kids, eating out can get pricey, so we went on a mission to find a portable fridge, which you think would be at a camping store. After going to multiple camping stores, we found it at Feu Vert, the French O’Reilly’s/Autozone. 🗼 Brian and I have our engagement photos in front of the Eiffel, so it was only right to attempt to get some pics of the kids but it was a rainy day, so we only got Sago peeking out of the @wonderfold 😆 ⛄️ Another cute Christmas stroll through @bercyvillageparis 🤩 such a cool strip. It was once the world’s largest wine market. We had dinner at Fenetre Sur Cour. HIGHLY recommend with kids. They had colorful booster seats, a kids menu with crayons, toys for the kids and all with a lovely ambience. When do you get a place that’s kid friendly with a nice ambience? I was pleasantly surprised. 👑 @chateauversailles Lots to learn and see! Kids loved walking around and actually stayed somewhat quiet. There was no crying throughout the tour so that’s always a plus 😆 🎅🏾 Christmas market at Tuileries Garden was a treat for all of us. We got there late because we were handling car rental logistics BUT the food was AMAZING. Many people ask how Saint does with flying at such a young age. My answer is always the same; he does well lol. He’s a super easy baby on the plane. He likes to breastfeed before takeoff and he usually sleep for the rest of the flight. On our longer journey (almost 10hr direct flight) he only woke to eat and have some minor play time. Don’t be scared to take those babies on the plane. Let them explore and know that if they do cry, everything will be alright. This is how we had to watch the last two games of big brothers football tournament. From the AC in the car after a proper car seat nap! Mom had to drive us around until we fell asleep because we lost it. Don’t worry she was able to watch big brothers game from the parking lot & she still got to cheer for him while we napped.
