In Love with Brisbane 🫶 Zuerst dachten wir, dass Brisbane nicht so unsere Stadt wird. Wir kamen an und waren vom Verkehr der Millionenstadt erstmal überfordert. Nachdem wir nun das dritte Mal ins Zentrum gefahren sind, fühlen wir uns schon wie Zuhause. Wir parken das Auto außerhalb des Zentrums und nehmen die kostenfreie Fähre über den Brisbane River - direkt ein Highlight für Rio (& uns ☺️). Schlendern durch die Straßen der modernen Hochhäuser, trinken in der schöne Fußgängerzone einen Kaffee und danach spazieren wir über die wundervolle Uferpromenade um am Place-to-be anzukommen. Dem Streets Beach - eine Lagune mit Sandstrand und vielen verschiedenen Becken (inkl. tollem Kinderbereich) und Blick auf die Skyline von Brisbane. Eintritt ist frei. Zum Auto kommen wir wieder über die Uferpromenade oder, wenn die Beine müde sind, mit dem kostenfreien Boot. Czy Formentera jest tak mała, że nie ma tutaj miejsca na spacery? Zdecydowanie jest wystarczająca, żeby odbywać wiele spacerów w dodatku w otoczeniu samych pięknych krajobrazów! Wczoraj wybraliśmy się na wycieczkę w kierunku małej, pięknej i nieco tajemniczej plaży, do Calò d’Es Mort. Jest to piękna, malutka plaża położona pomiędzy skałami. Naszą wycieczkę odbyliśmy pieszo. Mieszkamy w sumie nie daleko 😉 Najpierw wzdłuż plaż a następnie skręciliśmy na szlak. W jedną stronę szliśmy około 1,5 godziny, ponieważ często zatrzymywaliśmy się zrobić zdjęcia, pooglądać rybki czy pozbierać nowe muszelki 📷🐠🐡🐚 W drugą jednak stronę było nam nieco zimno (ostatnie 3 dni są tutaj nieco chłodniejsze) więc udało nam się wrócić w około 40 minut Jeśli chodzi o szlaki, jest ich tutaj kilka. Są cudownie położone. Widoki są wspaniałe, a ścieżki na prawdę dobrze przygotowane pod wędrówki, bieganie czy dla rowerów. Serdecznie polecamy Wam spacery po tej cudownej, rajskiej wyspie. The happiness of watching sunsets by the sea ❤️ Traveling with a small child in the cold half of the year feels a bit like playing a game of chance - will we actually be able to go on this trip or will it be another cancellation due to a sick child or parent (or all of us)? After I had to cancel our mama-son adventure to Amrum in February, I was looking forward to our family trip to the Netherlands so much, but didn't want to get my hopes up. And then, in the week, days and even hours leading up to the trip we had not one, not two, but three health scares, the last one leading to me and JK visiting the urgent care center on the day of our (already postponed) departure. When we were actually in the car driving towards the Dutch border, I couldn't quite believe we were actually going on vacation. Standing on the beach watching the sunset felt twice as amazing after that. Following a lot of traveling families on here I know that we're not alone with this game of chance (or rather germs) this winter. “We stayed in a 4-person cottage and the accommodation was really lovely. Just as nice as it looks in the photos. Really nicely fitted out, well arranged, lovely bathrooms and comfy beds. It was a pleasure to hang out there. It was nestled in the woodland which we could see change over the course of the week with bluebells starting to flower and the trees coming into leaf. “ Thanks to the Ward family for sending us this review of their Easter break at the new “Landal Forest Resort Your Nature” in the Belgian Ardennes. Here you are immersed in nature in eco lodges dotted around the large woodland estate. There is a pool, mini golf and some games too. 🏝️🌊☀️ iloilo dump ☀️🌊🏝️ iloilo is a hidden gem! we opted to arrive in Roxas City instead to cut down on the land travel to our hotels and island hopping destination (it’s 3 to 4 hours drive from ILO airport). we just did a normal commute from Bulacan to reach our first hotel in Carles, Iloilo. From Roxas, it took us 3 tricycles & a passenger van while in a 2-hour scorching hot travel time. is it worth it? yes. did we do it again going back? di na uy. 😭🤣 Kenzo was never fussy and was well-behaved (thank You Lord) but it was difficult and didn’t expect that the commute was not that comfy 🥲😅 1 - antonia beach 🏖️ 2 - airport fit check emz. life hack: use the carry on as a stroller 🤣 3 - there’s a free kiddie play area before the gates. life saver for families who arrive early 4 - photo opp with the plane ✈️ (we were on the same flight with Ivana Alawi. Ayy first time in 13 years ko makita si @kennevic71 na ma-starstruck 🙄🙄🙄) 5 - finally reached 1st hotel, took a quick dip 6 - im a toddler mom. of course, his fave toy will always be in my bag. 7 - island hopping time 🩶 8 - pulupandan islet. epek si kuya mag picture! 9 - tanke lagoon. can do cliff diving here. sobrang ganda! 10 - sand castle thingz 11 - another kudos to our tour guide - knows the best shots! 12-13 - arte lang 🫶🏼 14 - at bantigue sandbar. hubby said “wag na tayo bumaba” Kenzo was sleeping kasi. after a while “ay bababa pala ako” 🤭 oh go sana happy ka. akyat ka agad palit tayo bababa din ako 😜😜

We had a great time back at the Hansel and Gretel pancake house and play park for dinner yesterday. We joined the children in exploring the new additions to the outdoor play area including a new haunted house, water play area and wooden obstacle course. We couldn’t resist the homemade Dutch apple pie after the scent hit us as we walked through the door! And it was fun watching the kids going down the secret passages to get to the underground play area-a most unique way to get to the toilets! An added bonus was seeing the tulip fields just down from Hansel and Gretel. This is a brilliant place to visit for the day, half day or as a pitstop en route to one of our featured parks! Our first vacation as a family of 3☀️🏝️ Travelling with a toddler had some challenges. But being a first time mom, you plan ahead as much as you can, adapt as you go, and do your best. On the day of our flight there, Liam didn’t nap all day and was exhausted and cranky on the plane so that was hard. We also couldn’t eat all our meals together because sometimes he’d be napping or was too tired to want to sit and eat. It took us a few days to settle into a “routine” that worked for us. Our schedule revolved around when buffets were open, his nap and bed time. Of course, it was so amazing to see Liam experience everything new and I loved that.
