Weekend Work Vibes! Hello Fashion Lovers... My working environment is ever changing, and I totally love that. Some days, I am working from home with clients from all over the world, helping them on their style journeys. Some days, I receive clients at home, and some days, I am out on location. As both a hairdresser and a personal stylist, my days are varied, and I love that. Yesterday, I was on the road at 7.15 am. to be on site taking care of some lovely bridesmaids at a wedding party. In these instances, having fluidity of movement in my clothing is key. I also don't want to look crumpled and crinkled upon arrival after being in the car. Simple outfit formulars often work best for home working environments, be that my own or someone else's. I don't always know what my working environment will look like until I arrive, and my job can often be quite physically, so fussy outfits are generally not on the agenda. It was a huge success but I thank that to my preparation, hard work, and detailed planning. It consisted of a Friday event (in my prior post) lasting 4 hrs with two sets of meal setups and sessions. Saturday consisted of multiple room changes, back to back sessions, and 3 meals. As I like to say, an event like this is an orchestra and every moment has to be done so precisely it looks intentional. I think I achieved this because there were so many compliments from staff, faculty, my team, and admitted families having a great experience which is music to my ears.
