What a dream come true this has been!! I've always wanted a home gym ever since I started fitness. Growing up watching @jujimufu lifting in his dinning room and seeing people like @pete.rubish deadlifting in his basement and thinking this badass. I didn't want to just have a home gym for the sake of it I wanted a facility where I could continue to grow and reach my potential and today I can say I have achieved that goal. CHEAT MEALS🐷 (and bulk update) Unless you are going to be stepping on stage (none of you reading this will be) then you should 100% be having some sort of relaxed meal with your loved ones every week. Don’t let this turn into a huge binge where you turn into a feral animal for a few hours because trust me you will feel awful immediately after. My advice is then to put the extra food to good use the next day if you can! This can be difficult on the weekends for the mums and dads I just understand. Pull day (A) 1 of 2 per week __ Pulling has been an important factor of this years off season, bigger and better has to be apparent when the fat gets taken off for this years prep, and these are some of the staples I’ve been using. __ 1: A pullover, not always this version but I tried this and it felt on the money, fully lengthen range challenge and the goal to connect to the lats early so I can carry that into my session. __ 2. upper back pull, whether that t bar row, prime row or this row here, I’ll always hit a strong upper back movement to fill that upper back musculature for the rear double shot. __ 3. A lat based row, not only focussing on pulling back, but also trying to ‘wrap’ around the spine as well to fill in the lower lat as best as possible. Keeping upright and the base of my spine away from where my arm will go to stretch at much as possible. __ 4. Lat pull down to finish the upper back off nicely, some rhomboid, rear and trap as well which hits nice. __ I’ll always do a hip hinge on this first day and of course 10 sets of biceps 😂 they will grow. __ #1MR #pullday #backday #bodybuilding #ifbbpro #reels #explore

How to warm up before your pressing? 🔥 Before I start any session I like to start with a general warm up. Usually 10-15 min of walking just to get warm. Then I do more targeted warm ups and this is especially important prior to any pressing movement to not injure yourself as the load gets heavier. I first start with some side raises 15-20 reps to just get blood into the muscle. As you can see in the video I don’t put my arms exactly to my side but slightly angled to the front, that’s intentional to allow for better connection with the delts. Since it’s very easy to feel it in your traps. Then u superset this with a pec fly here 10-15 reps with a good stretch in the bottom range and squeeze at the top. Simply because we want as much blood flow into the muscle as possible and making sure every muscle fiber is activated prior to pressing. So, pay as much attention to your warm ups as you do your main work. Because they set the starting point for the rest of your workout. 1 year later - 119kg vs 123kg __ 4kg heavier and a whole lotta more muscle. __ I’m using about 600mg more total anabolics since the first one and double the growth hormone. But relatively the same calories. __ I know what happens when I prep, I’m definitely a ‘come alive’ type physique rather than just get leaner. The result last time was 104ishkg peeled. Row to grow 🚣 Just the basics. Lower reps and more load to cause a higher amount of mechanical tension. Goal from here is to get even stronger at these but also loosen up the barbell row a bit with some more momentum. It’s after all not an isolation and shouldn’t be treated like one. I usually start my back training with an lat isolation like the SL pulldown to pre exhaust the lats prior to the main pulling movements. That way they will also be more active while pulling and you can never have too big lats if you ask me. After the main work it’s more isolation work but I am a strong believer that the main movements like this is what will give you the most mass on your frame in the long run. Some clips from the current training 🎯 Changes has been made and one of those is that I now do RDLs by the end of the session and I also do them twice per week, back and leg day. Now why do RDLs by the end of the session when you are the most fatigued? Well, since the movement is very CNS fatiguing it can affect your other primary movements since you’ll already be quite fried. But by putting it by the end you can put more work into your more direct work to the trained muscle and that way cause more stimulus with way less fatigue. Like let’s say I do RDLs on a back day. If I do it first thing in the session I can use 4 plates. Great stimulus but also very high fatigue. This fatigue will affect the rest of my session. But by putting it later I can first do my direct work and then use the RDL to get the full stimulus. Sure the load will be much lighter but I’ll still get the stimulus I need. Because you never want to neglect a hip hinge all together, they are very important and especially for its lower back loading. After this there’s some high rep incline press. Nothing special just very slowed and controlled with a pause at the bottom. Last but not least some basic Tricep work, once again connection and execution over load. Always get the most out of the least. Off-season updates - week 8/9 __ Start weight: 117kg Current weight: 120.7kg __ Nutrition: 4200kcals + 3500kcals Steps: 6-8ish Cardio: 3x20 mins LISS + 10 mins HIIT Pw AAS: 2g’s behbeh GH: 7iu’s all pre bed __ Taking things up a notch this week, food pushed, gear pushed and ready to take everything else up as well. The goal is bigger and better so I’m leaving no stone unturned in order to get there. __ The daily non negotiables is the longest it’s ever been… the sacrifice list is long and I’ll keep it that way until the deed is done this year. 3 months to keep growing and change this physique as much as physically possible until the time is upon us. __ It’ll be nearly 18 months show to show and when you love this game that feels like a lifetime.
