💥Sometimes being the smallest version of yourself isn’t the best version. Chasing a number on the scale or heck even a specific LOOK will leave you feeling so depleted & defeated mentally, emotionally, physically. 👉🏻in the 2nd slide, the photo on the left was taken four months before my bodybuilding show 2 years ago, 👉🏻in the 3rd slide, the photo on the left was taken two months before my body building show. The photos on the right were taken today. 💥the difference between the two: 😔The girl in the left was restricted. Chasing a trophy to make her feel validated. She felt strong, but ended being weak in the end due to so much depletion, eating low carbs & burning herself into the ground with cardio. Her mental health was an all time low. Although she had discipline & had accomplished what only a small % of the world can even do, it was a very lonely, selfish road that left her feeling worthless. ✨the girl on the right- Is facking strong. Eating 3x the amount of calories. ZERO restriction. And burning MORE calories in endurance that helps her be healthy & strong mentally & physically than she ever could being the girl on the left. Setting PRS in the gym & in running. 💣And believe it or not- there is only a 15lb difference between these photos. 🔑 it took me years to get to this physique. Failures, tribulations, losses, sickness.. but out of it all has come so much good. I have found where I belong & have a new love for my body and am so F*kng validated in every thing I do. Today’s workout, that you can also find on the app. Jumped in with the team tonight. The strength mobility workouts are meant to be done as heavy as possible. I am in a bulking phase so we are pushing weight. This was the second time doing it today so this one was done lighter. If I can do the same weight morning and night, I’m not pushing enough weight in the morning. And because they are functional exercises, “heavy” isn’t your typical heavy, so your muscles grow in size but keep a lean endurance athlete purpose. We are also targeting all the seconds and, hard to reach muscle that will help with overall performance and injury prevention. The target muscles are the gluteus maximus and quadriceps femoris (red) Maintaining a neutral lumbar spine. According to Mc Gill, in his research Low Back Disorders,2007. A fully flexed spine is associated with strained posterior passive tissues and high shearing forces on the lumbar spine. The movement is through the hip joint, so keep your back straight‼️ . Also, you need to "squeeze the buttocks", not by creating hip extension. Then, once the activation has been mastered, you’ll extend the torso through the hip joint. It is best to perform this exercise with some padding on the floor, so you won’t harm your knees. Treine com cargas, e pra isso você precisa descansar igual gente Senta e respira amiga, geralmente até 2min pra pensar em levantar e pensar em fazer novamente. Seu corpo FISIOLOGICAMENTE precisa até 3 min de descanso pra restabelecer todas suas reservas de energia. Se você está descansando menos que isso, ou não está usando toda sua energia no exercício, ou tá indo pra séries com os estoques submaximos.
