♦️ National Resistance Brigades (Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces) spokesman Abu Khaled: 🔻During the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, our fighters carried out more than 400 military operations, including: - 100 direct clashes with occupation army soldiers and their vehicles on all axes of advancement, resulting in deaths and injuries among the enemy ranks, and the seizing of some military equipment. - Our fighters targeted 25 vehicles and gatherings of the occupation army with RPG shells and anti-tank tandem shells. - The fighters of the sniper unit executed 5 sniper operations against occupation army soldiers. - We bombarded zionist settlements with over 110 rocket barrages. - Our forces shelled occupation army gatherings and positions with heavy caliber mortar shells, totaling over 160 bombardments. - Our fighters shot down drones and reconnaissance aircraft belonging to the occupation army. - During the battle, 37 of our fighters were martyred, including some on October 7th within our occupied lands, while others were assassinated by the “israeli” air force. Η Μάχη της Αθήνας Στις 3 Δεκεμβρίου 1944 το συλλαλητήριο διαμαρτυρίας των ΕΑΜικών οργανώσεων στο Σύνταγμα καταπνίγεται στο αίμα. Έχει προηγηθεί η κατάρρευση των διαπραγματεύσεων για τη διάλυση των αντιστασιακών οργανώσεων και τη συγκρότηση του νέου στρατού και η αποχώρηση των στελεχών του ΕΑΜ από την Κυβέρνηση Εθνικής Ενότητας. Η εύθραυστη ειρήνη της Απελευθέρωσης καταρρέει. Τις επόμενες μέρες ξεκινά μια σφοδρή ανοιχτή στρατιωτική σύγκρουση για πρώτη φορά στους δρόμους Αθήνας μεταξύ του ΕΛΑΣ και της συμμαχίας των βρετανικών και κυβερνητικών δυνάμεων. Οι μάχες θα διαρκέσουν 33 μέρες, με κατάληξη την στρατιωτική ήττα του ΕΛΑΣ και λίγο αργότερα την επίσημη διάλυσή του. Η πολιτική σημασία των Δεκεμβριανών υπήρξε τεράστια, όπως και ο βαρύς φόρος του αίματος. I encourage any of my followers still in the military to sign up for @thinkjsou 's National Resistance Course, and--for those who aren't--the Resistance Operating Concept (ROC) is unclassified and openly available. Arming the populace is not a singular answer to maintaining national sovereignty or dissuading foreign threats, but it is a necessary component. A nation cannot hold to conventional warfare if their adversary chooses to fight unconventionally. If a nation makes every block a defense reminiscent of Hue, Mogadishu, Fallujah, or Mosul, the enemy will be slowed, and controlling the tempo often correlates with controlling the initiative. The video reminds me of my apartment in Miami, on the second story next to a busy street downtown, where I sat behind a concrete balcony. However, I had my personal armory with me. One man, with one rifle, could have turned, fixed, or even destroyed that fire team sitting in an unarmored vehicle in the middle of open terrain. The idea, that a nation with compulsory conscription would prohibit the same populace to have the same weaponry after service is antithetical to maintaining the defense of its populace and territory. The same was seen in Ukraine, where the government waited until just before the invasion to begin arming a populace who had no basic understanding of firearm use or employment. Israeli military culture may translate to a better understanding, but the nation has waited until after the fact to shift to a policy of arming the populace, and a nation constantly concerned with existential threats cannot afford to be reactive. I don't make this post to weigh in on the conflict, but to point out that there is a right way and a wrong way to conduct resistance. Bertrand Russell said, "war does not determine who is right, only who is left." The #Taliban have said that "hundreds" of their fighters have laid siege to #PanjshirValley, an anti-Taliban bastion where resistance forces have also mobilized to defend the key territory not yet seized by the militants. Today, exactly 80 years ago, hundreds of Dutch citizens gathered in the city of The Hague to celebrate the birthday of prince Bernhard, at least that’s what they wanted the German occupiers to think! In reality this gathering was the first ever public protest against the German occupiers. This day has come to be known as “Anjerdag” (Carnation day), referring to the white carnation that the Dutch prince often wore in the chestpocket of his jacket. • As a symbol of loyalty to the royal house and resistance against German occupation the Dutch protesters not only wore white carnations during the protest but also laid loads of them at momentous sights through the city. News about the protest quickly spread and other cities, such as Amsterdam and Utrecht, followed the example. • The protest was short lived as the occupiers were quick to put an end to it. Measures were taken and carried out the next morning. Το μνημείο Εθνικής Αντίστασης βρίσκεται στην ανατολική είσοδο της πόλης, σε νησίδα απέναντι από το αθλητικό πάρκο. Φιλοτεχνήθηκε το 2004 από τον Καλαμπακιώτη γλύπτη Σώτο Αλεξίου (1937-). Χαιρετώ τον αιώνιο ύπνο του ανθρώπου που ήταν ο πρώτος ήρωας της Εθνικής Αντίστασης, ο οποίος κατέβασε τη σβάστιγγα από την Ακρόπολη, δίνοντας το μήνυμα για τον αγώνα προς την ελευθερία σε όλη τη σκλαβωμένη Ευρώπη! Τον άνθρωπο που μας δίδαξε ζωή και αγώνα για το ακατόρθωτο μέσω της διαγωγής του βίου του και παραθέτω έναν από τους τελευταίους δημόσιους λόγους που μιλά για τους συναγωνιστές του: . "Αγαπητοί φίλοι, στις παραμονές των εκτελέσεων, στις παραμονές από κάθε μάχη μαζευόμαστε και κουβεντιάζαμε και λέγαμε "εάν εσύ ζεις μην με ξεχάσεις" . "εάν εσένα δεν σε βρει το βόλι όταν συναντάς ανθρώπους στο δρόμο, θα λες καλα κι από εμένα, κι όταν πίνεις κρασί θα πίνεις κρασί και από εμένα, και όταν ακούς τον παφλασμό των κυμάτων θα τον ακούς και για μένα, κι όταν ακούς τον άνεμο να περνάει μέσα από τα φύλλα, όταν ακούς το θρόισμα των φύλλων, θα το ακούς και για μένα, και όταν χορεύεις θα χορεύεις και για μένα". . Αντιμαχόμενος κάθε δικτατορία, κάθε απολυταρχική μορφή εξουσίας. Από όταν κουρέλιαζε το γόητρο του Τρίτου Ράιχ, μέχρι τη χούντα των Συνταγματαρχών. Καταδικάστηκε συνολικά 28 φορές για την πολιτική και αντιστασιακή δραστηριότητα του, από τις οποίες τρεις φορές σε θάνατο. . Το 1962 βραβεύτηκε από ΕΣΣΔ με το Διεθνές Βραβείο Ειρήνης Λένιν. Μάλιστα ο Σαρλ ντε Γκωλ, την περίοδο των πρώτων δικαστικών του περιπετειών, τον χαρακτήρισε ως τον "πρώτο παρτιζάνο της Ευρώπης". .
