To be honest, I didn’t want to post anything on Earth Day because it is something that should be celebrated year round. Day 1 of the #TransCatalinaTrail: folks, the initial climb from Hermit Gulch trailhead to the peak where it connects with the TCT is no joke. 1.7 miles felt like an eternity, especially as the sun rose over the hill and quickly heated up.
