Try this tip on your close grip bent over row: Common ego mistake: Everyone wants to look cool rowing 45lb plates during this exercise. Majority of the time these people lose form and end up jerking they’re whole body to get the last of their reps.. Not only does this limit your Full ROM but can potentially lead to injury with bad form. Corrective Tip: load up some 25lb plates since they are physically smaller to achieve that full ROM. This helps with contracting the muscles to their full potential. Ah hump day. The day when many will be squatting and deadlifting in pursuit of glute gains. ⁣ ⁣ A common mistake with these exercises, is people thinking that the glutes don’t come into the movement until the end. An add on. A hyper extension of the back, a pelvic tilt, butt clench. Using your glutes this way, there’s no need to bother with the barbell, just stand or sit clenching! ⁣ ⁣ Squats and deadlifts are posterior chain lifts and should recruit muscle groups working together throughout the whole movement. I wasn’t looking forward to Murph at all this year. Last year it was really rough and I was really sick afterward. So I had planned to do it partner style but at the last minute decided not to.
