The Hive, I work at the hive and the people inside are wonderful. The team leaders and managers have been really flexible with me and my creative ambitions. They have help advocate and support me in a myriad of ways, full of compassionate and lively folks. 6. Behind the Smile, is a brilliant organisation dedicated to supporting better mental health and wellbeing across Worcestershire. I get immense pleasure from working with the regulars . Gaynor who is in a league of her own, has a huge heart and is a real leader for positive change in the community. 7. Severn Arts, is one of the few arts-based organisations locally which are really committed to supporting local artists development. They make the city inspiring! 8. Meadow Arts, I was lucky enough to secure a really fun commission from Meadow arts this year and took great joy in working with these their partnering schools Cherry Orchard and St Barnabas. 9. Craftspace, I am just starting a new project with Craftspace! 10. Today I had conversations about the titles that I had given to my paintings. I explained that the titles were very intuitively given, rapidly, without thinking too much, if at all.. letting them just arise. The two words used as a title for my exhibition are plucked from a George Bernard Shaw quote : 'Think of the fierce energy concentrated in an acorn! Meadow Arts is delighted to announce two different education based projects that we are working on, thanks to the generosity of two funders... with support from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, we’re 'Thinking Differently' in schools across the three counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire in a project that will test how the visual arts can impact children with special education needs and disabilities (SEND), including neurodiverse conditions like attention deficit disorders, autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia. Meanwhile, the Elmley Foundation is enabling us to undertake a four-stranded project that will help our associate artists, known to us as Creative Practitioners, to develop their work with schools and the public across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, as well as looking at how we can get more young people involved in the arts. #art #education #artistsoninstagram #paulhamlynfoundation #elmleyfoundation

Whitbourne was the starting point for our project Our Man in the Moone. In the 1600s, village resident Francis Godwin, Bishop of Hereford wrote an adventure story that became the first work of science fiction in the English language, 'The Man in the Moone'.
