I don't know how to feel about Mother's Day... It may be weird to say as a Natural Fertility expert who helps women become mothers, but I never know how to feel on this day... I'm always grateful to be a mom and to have my kiddos... I'm also grieving for all the women who are trying to conceive but haven't experienced it... My relationship with my mother is something that I am still working on and I know many out there don't have a good relationship with their mom... All of this to say, whatever you feel this holiday, let it be. 💕 #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #holisticmom #holisticfertility #mothersday

Fertilization happens in the first ⅓ of the fallopian tube - also known as the ampulla. The ampulla is the widest and longest portion of the fallopian tube, a.k.a the ideal environment for fertilization to take place. It only takes one good sperm to fertilize the egg, but that's only if the man is producing good sperm. 👀 High motility (60% or higher), good morphology (above 5% but ideally 10-14%), good volume (3-5ml), and high concentration (above 50mil/ml)—and so on. Your husband's health is just as important as yours, so make sure he's putting in as much effort to optimize his sperm potential as you are with your fertility potential. 😌 Share this to spread the word. 🙋‍♂️ #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #holisticmom #holisticfertility #mensfertility

Patrice and Yolanda have been together for over 15 years. When it came to thinking about their road to family, they happened upon The Valley Hospital Fertility Center at a Rainbow Wedding Expo, an exposition for LGBTQ+ welcoming wedding businesses. After a six-year journey, the two welcomed daughter Judah on November 30, 2022 at 11:44 a.m. “I would recommend The Valley Hospital Fertility Center to anyone who is struggling or has to take a different path to conceive. The level of service from the moment you walk in the door is impeccable. They understand the business they're in and that people and families are already coming through the door feeling scared, frustrated, excited, vulnerable, and even embarrassed. They work with you through all of those feelings while also providing top-notch medical care,” said Patrice. “I can’t thank the team enough for helping one of my biggest dreams come true. Judah is worth every single effort it took to get her here.” For more information about The Valley Hospital Fertility Center, please visit www.ValleyHealth.com/Fertility. #Fertility #FertilityJourney #FertilityStory #PatientTestimonial #ValleyHealthSystem

If you're unable to carry a baby to term, something is up on the inside and we need to go digging. Pregnancy is a natural process - when you have a miscarriage, that's your body's way of telling you it can't handle building a child from scratch. Having a miscarriage is devastating, overwhelming and confusing, but it doesn't need to be the end of your fertility journey. ❤️ In fact, I've worked with multiple patients who have experienced loss, including Ann, who have been able to take back control of their health, get to the root cause, and have a healthy and natural full-term pregnancy. It's all about searching for answers with the right support and HEALING before trying again. I'm so PROUD of Ann for putting in the work and believing in herself enough to come out on the other side healthy, confident and able to conceive with ease. 👏 If you want to be my next success story, comment 'HELP' so we can chat. #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #clientwin #clienttestimony #successstory

Lessons from an infertility warrior... I wish I knew you didn't have to have a referral to go to a fertility clinic. Accessing support shouldn't be a barrier. I wish I knew I didn't have to stay loyal to a doctor. It's okay to shop around and seek better care when needed. The emotional toll of infertility can lead you into not recognizing yourself as years pass. It's okay to acknowledge and seek support for this journey. It takes immense energy to wake up every day and go on living your life like nothing else is going on. Infertility is an invisible battle. I hate that I hate pregnancy announcements. It's a complex emotion that adds guilt to an already shaky journey. I wish I had created my Instagram sooner. It's now my lifeline, connecting me with others and providing education and support. Despite advances in medical technology, infertility doesn't always have a straightforward solution. It's a complex journey with no guarantees. IVF doesn't guarantee a baby. It's a tough reality to accept but an important one to acknowledge. I wish people would be more patient with those going through infertility and give them grace. It's a challenging journey that requires understanding and support. The shots aren't the scary part; it's the unknown of having a baby that truly terrifies. The fertility journey is a challenging one to say the least... You just don't know how long it will take to reach your destination...I used to wonder if I'll ever become a mum. But with time and diligence and applied patience that I never used to have, we got there in the end. It takes a lot of courage to start this journey but it's worth it. #everymamatobematters #fertilityjourney #fertilitystory #infertility #infertilitysucks #ivf #ivfjourney #everymamamatters

So this week is infertility awareness week, could I really let this week go by without posting a special grid post about this subject … the answer is absolutely not! Since opening up about our fertility struggles and miscarriage we seem to of helped a lot of people, my inbox has been inundated with messages and I’ve been able to give so many women advice about getting help when needed, and I’m so happy that we are breaking the silence on this as 1 in 7 couples will face fertility struggles. Here is our story, after loads of tests at our fertility clinic we were diagnosed with unexplained infertility, I have very mild “slightly polycystic appearing ovaries” as the consultant called it but still have regular periods every 28 days and ovulate every single month without fail, Adams sperm tests came back normal , we were given two options to try tablets but the success rate was only 20% this is when we made the decision to embark on our IVF journey as the success rate was 50% and we didn’t want to waste any more time. I would say the IVF Journey has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through, full of ups and downs, disappointment, hope, excitement, set backs, pregnancy, happiness, miscarriage, grief and loneliness but it really is true the only things stronger than fear is hope and this is what keeps me going when things feel hard and gives me the motivation to try again, even on the darkest of days. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, my inbox is always open x #infertilityawarenessweek #infertilityweek #fertilityjourney #frozenembryotransfer #ttcjourney #infertilitycommunity #ivfjourney #ivfuk #ivfwarriors #ivficsi #miscarriagesupport #miscarriagesurvivor #mommydiaries #mummybloggers #ttcsupport #ttcaftermiscarriage #pregnancyloss #hincharmy #simplymamahood #letterboardquotes #fertilitystruggles #fertilitystory #ivfgotthis #ivfcycle #kingsfertility

Long story short, when I was 24, I was diagnosed with a high grade uterine sarcoma. I had an 8cm tumor that extended thru my cervix. My treatment plan included 7 rounds of chemotherapy, a hysterectomy, and internal radiation. My doctor was able to leave my ovaries, but pinned them up in my abdomen to try and keep them safe from the remaining cancer treatments. Needless to say, the hysterectomy lead to my infertility, but we still have hope that we may be able to get that one healthy egg that can create that one healthy embryo to get us one healthy baby 🧡 • These origami cranes were folded for me by my friends after my cancer diagnosis. They folded me 1,000 cranes because of the Japanese legend that anyone who folds 1,000 paper cranes is granted good fortune and a wish 🩵 • #ReMARKableStories #nationalinfertilityawarenessweek #ivf #ivfjourney #ivfwarrior #cancersurvivor #cancersucks #standuptocancer #morebirthdays #infertility #ivfcommunity #NIAW #niaw2024 #fertilitystory #leaveyourmark2024 @resolveorg

Infertility is more than a negative pregnancy test. It is the heartache of grieving the life you thought you'd have and the anxiety about what the future holds. It is the constant tug of war between hope and grief. And, while there are many things to share about infertility, I want you to know it's okay to not be okay while going through any part of your fertility journey. Because there will likely be days when you won't be able to hold back your tears. You may cry in unexpected places like parking lots, doctor's offices, restaurants, and bathroom stalls because everything you're going through feels too much. And that's okay. There may be days you'll feel so confused, so mad at what you're going through, wondering why it is so hard to have a baby when it seems so easy for everyone else. And that's okay. There will be days you won't know what to do, which step to take, or how you will get through any of it. And that's okay. There might be days when you feel like everything is falling apart because life looks nothing like the one you pictured. And that's okay. Infertility is so much more than a diagnosis. It's the invisible weight carried by the 1 in 6 that many people never see or understand, yet it affects every aspect of life. So, it's okay to feel the hurt, jealousy, anxiety, and everything in between. You are not any less of a person for feeling these feelings. Infertility is hard, and there is no playbook for grieving and healing. So, please know it is safe to feel all that is in your heart. And, if you need support, I encourage you to find your tribe online. Connecting with others going through infertility has helped me feel seen after feeling so alone in infertility. Having someone to talk to who understands the heaviness of it all has made me feel so supported. I'm rooting for you. You've got this. @nutritionbytara Join the conversation this #NIAW by sharing your #fertilitystory or words of support for those struggling and tagging @the.ivf.warrior Are you part of the 1 in 6 impacted by infertility? 🧡

Kaylie’s perseverance is truly inspiring and will forever remind me why I love what I do. Even if your conventional doctor is telling you that you can NEVER conceive... Never say never until you’ve tried EVERYTHING - that means getting to the ROOT CAUSE. I can 99.9% guarantee you haven’t tried everything...yet. If you want to conceive in 2024, this should be your game plan: 1️⃣ Find out what’s causing your infertility (the WHY), then 2️⃣ Create a holistic plan with a natural fertility expert to target those specific root causes (it’s different for everyone). Until we got Kaylie’s lab results back, the only thing she knew about her health was that she had high FSH, low AMH - a.k.a premature ovarian failure (POF). Please, please, please get your labs done! 🔥 This is why I test ALL my patients. 🔥 This is why I push to find answers, no matter what your other practitioners have told you. There is ALWAYS something to learn about your body and the only person who can advocate for your health and your future family is YOU. Send me a DM with the word ‘HELP’ if you resonate with Kaylie’s story and want to connect with a fertility expert and naturopathic doctor who can actually help you get to the bottom of your infertility. 👏 #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #fertilityjourney #holisticfertility #holisticdoctor

Signing my books in Farrells Bookshop last month was a poignant and pivotal moment in my life’s journey. It transported me back to being a seven-year-old girl, standing at my bedroom window on those warm summer evenings, capturing the fading light as I poured my heart into writing adventure stories. This book signing served as a profound reminder of the unwavering belief I have always held—that I carried a story within, and one day I would share it with the world. It’s also a legacy I’m proud to leave for my children, who will revisit these pages long after I’m gone, recalling the deep love and fierce determination that brought them into existence. If you’re on a journey to parenthood or seeking an inspiring story that demonstrates the resilience of the human spirit and our ability to triumph over adversity, signed author copies of Infertility Saved My Life are available from the beautiful bookstore Farrells in Mornington, Victoria. If you live outside Australia, you can also request one from my website. Additionally, copies are stocked by major online retailers and bookstores worldwide. Dear Baby B.Linda, You were created & stored in Colorado (where your mom & dad live), shipped & transferred in NYC (where I was born) and are currently growing in another woman’s belly in San Antonio, TX (where grandma Linda Casanova was born & raised). You’re already well-traveled and you’re not even born…Just wait your mom loves to travel and can’t wait to see the world with you 🧳 🌎 The reason I’m starting this page is to document and process my journey of bringing you into this world. It was definitely not an easy journey, but my determination to be your mom was unwavering. At times, I felt ashamed and thought my body failed me, but I now know that my body is perfect in all its imperfections and that you are coming into this world exactly how you’re supposed to be…with SOOOO much love, support & gratitude as humanly possible… ————————— #fertilityjourney #fertilitystory #IVF #surrogatepregnancy #ivfsupport #fertilitysupport

Here are 3 reasons why natural approaches didn't work for you before: - You didn't have enough testing done - You didn't have a protocol that's customized to you (because of the lack of testing) - There was not enough follow-through (your doctor's only seen you every 3 months) I know deep down you still believe that natural medicine works and your body is capable of healing - otherwise, you wouldn't be here scrolling on my page. 😏 And you're right...it does work. Your body is capable of healing. But, when people say they have done EVERYTHING, what they really mean is that they have done everything that they know of. 🚫 That doesn't mean they actually have done everything...why? 🚫 Because there is no such thing as 'everything'. There is literally always something to learn about, to try, to do. It can be super overwhelming though and time-consuming. Trial and error without any guidance and direction is a hot mess. This is why I run lab work. This is why I track data on my patients. This is why I meet with my patients every two weeks. This is why I give my patients access to message me at any time they have questions. This shit is hard. This shit is confusing. And doing it alone is the worst. You aren't broken, you were never taught how your body works. You aren't cursed, you just need some guidance. You are worthy. You are worthy of getting answers. Worthy of feeling good in your body. Worthy of being heard. Want to work with me 1:1? Send me 'HELP' in a DM so we can chat next steps. #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #holisticmom #holisticfertility #holisticdoctor

We’re so looking forward to having Alison Prato, journalist, Fertility Rally @fertilityrally co-founder and Infertile AF @infertileafstories podcast host, join us for a special episode of Sharing Our Strength! Ali has recently published a children’s book, titled “Work of ART,” that aims to explain IVF to kids ages 4-8, and show them how truly special they are! Work of ART tells the story of Sonny, a basketball-obsessed seven year old who learns that he was born in a very unique way, through IVF. Sonny’s mom, who tried having a second baby for many years before she was successful, calls him “a work of art.” Ali says about the book, “I wrote this book because I want all kids who were born through Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) to know how wanted they were, how special they are, and how loved they are. Creating this book has been a true labor of love, and I hope readers both young and old love reading it as much as I loved writing it. I hope to further normalize the conversation about IVF, ART, and family building in many different ways.” We can’t wait to hear more about it and about Ali’s personal story! Do you have any questions for Ali? Leave them in the comments!

BETA IS POSITIVE! It feels so special to be able to share such a huge milestone. The nurses called Vic as I was too anxious to take the call. I had headphones on in the bedroom, listening to relaxing music but I was already getting emotional. Vic came around the corner red eyed, teary and smiling “it’s positive”. I was so overwhelmed with emotion, I wish I could I say I looked beautiful in that moment but I know it was the ugliest cry I’ve ever had. I just cried and Vic held me saying “the numbers are really good”. I didn’t want to know the HCG as last time I fixated on this number and focused on it so much rather than just being present in the moment. So here I am surrendering again, we will repeat bloods in a week. Why not 48hours? I requested earlier bloods last time and it didn’t make a difference. If this baby is snuggling in nice and close they are going to do so whether I do bloods in 2 days time or a week! So for the next week, I am going to love my body and my baby, and celebrate exactly where we are today!! A positive pregnancy test!!! I am a portal for life to come through me!! I’m all in Darling Heart!!!! #ivfaustralia #ivfjourney #fertilityawareness #embryotransfer #positivebeta #ttcjourney #ttcsisters #infertilitywarrior #fertilitystory #ivfpregnancy

A small insight to Des and I infertility journey 📖 Staying connected during infertility is almost as hard as the treatment journey 🫣 As most of us know it is super difficult going through ivf, there are so many misconceptions about what is really involved. It is a complete learning curve for all of us involved let alone friends and family etc The affects on a relationship is probably the bottom of the list of things people would consider when thinking about ivf but all so important, You need each other and the support and understanding of one another throughout the journey and beyond!!!! This was my pregnancy after my miscarriage - the pregnancy that I actually appreciated. My first pregnancy happened so fast, and I was so sick for so long; that I felt miserable, inconvenienced, and agitated. 😖 It wasn’t until the miscarriage that I realized how truly special pregnancies are and how incredible the female body is. ❤️ And it wasn’t until I dove into researching the menstrual cycle that I understood that fertility isn’t that mysterious. It’s not that some women struggle with fertility and others get lucky. 👉Women who struggle with infertility also struggle with painful periods, acne, PMS, low libido, hair loss, digestive issues, anxiety, etc. 👈 Sure, some women get pregnant despite those symptoms, but I promise you those pregnancies aren’t happy or healthy... Because if you have any of those symptoms, it means that your body is depleted of vital nutrients, your hormones are out of balance, your digestion is compromised, etc. I wish I had known this information before my first pregnancy. Even as a naturopathic doctor, I didn’t realize how important it was to track my cycle and understand how to nurture myself to optimize my fertility. My miscarriage taught me to go inward and prioritize my health before embarking on such an important journey. Making a baby is the hardest thing your body will ever do...why wouldn't we want to prepare ourselves for it? I am so glad I put in the work for my third pregnancy. It was truly a healing experience for me. This is why I'm so passionate about educating women about their cycles and their fertility. It’s not luck, it’s work. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here. There is some incredible information on the internet, but it can be terribly confusing and overwhelming to implement it all. 😮‍💨 This is why I work with my couples one-on-one to help them identify the root cause of their infertility struggles, so I can customize their treatment plan every step of the way. 🔥 I prescribe diet and lifestyle recommendations based on data - my patients have tracking devices and share their daily information with me. 🔥 I prescribe supplement protocols based on lab work and symptoms - prioritizing the most important things first. 🔥 I change the protocols every month because the body is constantly changing and moving, and we need to accommodate this change while continuing to progress into deeper healing (ie. you can't detox heavy metals or mold in 3 months). 🔥 And my patients are extremely committed to their health and focused on their progress. If you want to be my next success story, send me 'HELP' in a DM so we can chat. #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #holisticmom #holisticfertility #holisticdoctor

All of these patients were told their labs were "normal" and as you can see, that couldn't be further from the truth! Poor digestion, inflammation, high environmental toxic load, and hormonal imbalances are all going to impact your health and fertility. 🚫 So, if you want an in-depth resource on these labs, comment "LABS" and I'll send it your way. #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #holisticmom #holisticfertility #holisticdoctor

It was a coincidence that I finished this memoir detailing the trials and tribulations of pregnancy right around the time fertility clinics in the south are pausing IVF treatments. First: the book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ INCREDIBLE. @saraconnell has written one of the most honest, vulnerable, gutwrenching, hopeful, incredible memoirs I've ever read. For the better part of a decade, she and her husband tried to have a baby. After multiple miscarriages, expensive fertility treatments, and hopes being dashed, they finally found an answer to their problem: accept Sara's 61-year-old mother's offer to be their surrogate... or more accurately, "gestational host" via IVF treatments. Not only did this selfless act give Sara and her husband the baby they so desperately wanted, but it also brought Sara closer to her mother, with whom she had a distant relationship at first. This book isn't just for mothers or mothers-to-be, it's for anyone who needs a story to prove to them that in the face of challenges, there is always a way. It's a story of resilience and unconditional love. It's a story of not giving up on your dreams. Now, the IVF news we've all heard about. 💔 I can only imagine what these women and families are going through without access to this expensive medical treatment that, for some, might be the only way they can have a family, as was the case for Sara Connell. And to be mid-process, and suddenly have treatment halted... it's crazy. It's sad. It's not fair. ❓️What do you think about having a mother, or other family member, being a surrogate? #amreadingmemoir #memoirreaders #memoir #memoirsofmotherhood #surrogacy #incrediblebook #readersofinsta #readersofinstagram📚📚❤️ #bookstagramusa #bookstagrams #booksthatwillmakeyoucry #catsandbooks #booksandcats #ivfstory #fertilitystory #booksforwomen #booksbywomen #femaleauthors #womenrock

🚨 Endometriosis is a treatable disease. 🚨 You read that right...you don't have to live with endometriosis for the rest of your life. And surgery is NOT the only answer. Yes, you'll always have a genetic predisposition to developing it, but your endo is TREATABLE. It breaks my heart when women think they just have bad luck and there's nothing they can do except surgery... When this couldn't be farther from the truth! 💢 Your health reflects your environment - current and past. The problem is, that most of us are NOT aware of our environmental exposures and the accumulation of toxins in the body. We have over 85,000 endocrine-disrupting chemicals in our environment. We have literally been swimming in them since conception (yes, exposure in the womb matters and is one reason so many kids/teens are struggling with hormonal imbalances and mood disorders). You can heal - but it’s not as simple as switching out your beauty products. That is important, but if you want to reverse and heal your endo, you are going to have to put in some work. You're going to have to LEARN about detoxification and how to optimize it. You're going to heal your emotional trauma, and you're going to become a different person. It’s hard work, but living with excruciating painful periods is harder. If you want to gain free access to my top resources for navigating and treating endometriosis naturally, comment 'ENDO' so I can send them your way. #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #holisticmom #holisticfertility #holisticdoctor

When I had my miscarriage, my first thought was my body failed me. My next thought was - what is this experience supposed to teach me? Why am I going through this? When I first started naturopathic school, I had severe IBS. I didn’t trust my body and even hated it at times for being so unpredictable and reactive. It took me years to heal - supplements, diet/lifestyle changes, therapy, etc. I didn’t give up because something deep inside me told me that there is a better way to live. I learned to trust my body. I learned to take care of it. When I had the miscarriage, my trust in my body was challenged. Was my body failing me yet again or did I simply have a lesson to learn? I gave myself space to feel the shame, the unbearable sadness, and the disappointment, but I didn’t let that define me. Instead, I ran lab work. I reflected and made a new plan. 📝 When I was ready to try again, I knew the outcome was out of my control, but I did everything I could to prepare and pray that was enough. Yes, I prayed...because even with my lab work being optimal, and my diet and lifestyle being perfect, a miscarriage can still happen. We often want concrete answers and guarantees throughout our fertility journey, to help us feel safe, to help us avoid feeling the negative emotions that we are so desperately trying to avoid. But, what if it wasn’t about avoiding these emotions, but actually feeling them to their full capacity? 🧐 What if it was unpacking our trauma and giving our body what it needs to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally? 🧐 So no matter what the journey has in store for us, we feel confident, fearless, and open to whatever the experience will bring. Double tap if you’re with me on this. #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist

Becoming a fertility coach has been one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences of my life. All those years ago, I would never have thought that what started as my own personal research to understand my own fertility struggles would evolve into a mission to empower and guide others on their journey to parenthood. My own journey through infertility was fraught with uncertainty, emotional turmoil, and a sense of isolation. Navigating the complex maze of fertility treatments can be overwhelming for anyone. It was during this challenging time that I realised the need for compassionate guidance and holistic support that wasn't readily available to me. Driven by my own experiences and my deep desire to make a positive impact, I made the decision to become a fertility coach. Coupled with my fertility yoga teacher training it was the perfect mix. As a fertility coach, my role is not about providing information or medical advice; it is about offering support, empathy, and practical tips and techniques to women as they navigate the crazy ride of fertility treatments. Whether it's being a listening ear and providing emotional support during setbacks, or offering practical tools to help with stress and anxiety, I am there every step of the way. Everyone's fertility journey, whether it ends in pregnancy, reaffirms the power of determination of the human spirit. Whether it's the joy of a positive pregnancy test after years of trying, the fulfillment of building a family through alternative paths such as adoption or surrogacy, or the peace that comes with deciding to halt treatment altogether, every journey is unique and meaningful. And I'm so humbled to be a part of my clients' stories. 🙏

✨Faye’s Quest in the Valley of Vitality✨ In the mystical Valley of Vitality, hidden among rolling hills and shimmering streams, lived a tiny, yet mighty guardian named Faye the FSH. Unlike any other guardian, Faye had a special mission: to ensure the harmony and health of all creatures in the valley. The Valley of Vitality was a magical place where every creature played a role in the circle of life. Faye’s job was particularly important. She was in charge of guiding the young stars of the valley, ensuring they had the chance to shine their brightest. Each creature in the valley, from the smallest bug to the largest dragon, had a tiny spark within them. These sparks needed to be awakened at just the right time for the creatures to grow and fulfill their roles in the valley’s life cycle. Faye lived in a cozy burrow at the base of Mount Mind, where the wise old Owlculator, the keeper of knowledge, resided. At the beginning of each cycle, Owlculator would send a message to Faye, signaling it was time for her journey to begin. With a backpack full of sparkly dust, Faye would venture out to the Heartwood Forest, where the young stars slept in cozy nests, waiting for their sparks to be awakened. Faye, with her gentle and precise touch, would sprinkle each star with her magical dust, whispering words of encouragement, “Awaken and grow, fulfill your potential, and contribute to our beautiful valley.” As the days passed, the young stars began to glow brighter, each awakening to their unique talents and abilities. Faye watched over them with care, especially nurturing the brightest star of all, ensuring it received everything needed to shine its light on the valley. #fertilitystory #fsh #hormonalhealth #fertilityjourney #fertilityawareness #storyteller

I love LOVE, but it took me a long time to find it and cultivate it. I always longed for a deep connection with a partner. I was single for most of my twenties and I hated it. I felt used, betrayed, rejected, and self-conscious with all the guys I met. I was ready to swear men off until my mentors told me this: Love is not about FINDING the right person, but about BECOMING the right person. It was me who was attracting the wrong guys into my life. It was me that was accepting poor treatment. I was the one settling for less. So, I started working on myself - building my confidence and getting to know myself as a person. I worked through my childhood trauma and my triggers. I started actually expressing my needs, stopped fearing rejection, and started having FUN. So today, I celebrate my younger self - for not giving up, for working hard on becoming a different person, and for attracting the right partner. 💪 I hope you have the love that you deserve in your life. And if it’s not here yet, I hope you're getting help and working towards it. Happy Valentine's Day. 🥰 #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #holisticmom #holisticfertility #holisticdoctor

The biggest reason women feel anxious about their fertility journey is because they don’t know how their cycle works. You don’t know what’s normal, what’s abnormal, and if there is anything that you can do to fix it... You have been brainwashed into believing that the only way to balance your hormones is to take birth control (don’t get me started on this). In reality, our menstrual cycle is our monthly report card. 📝 It changes depending on our diet, sleep, stress, hydration, movement, nutrient levels and much more. So, if your cycle is giving you issues, then your hormones are out of balance, and there are so many things that YOU can do to balance them and optimize yourself for conception. If you want to learn more about how to track your menstrual cycle, comment 'CYCLE' so I can send you my favorite resources. #honestmothering #momlife❤️ #chronicillnesses #fertilitycoach** #naturopathic #naturopathicdoctor #holistimedicines #holistichealthcare #prenatalhealth #pregnancyprep #postpartumsupport #fertilitystory #infertilitysupport #firsttimemoms #drjane #pcoswarrior #pcossupport #endometriosis #fibroids #lowprogesterone #autoimmunedisorder #fertilitytips #fertilityproblems #fertilityspecialist #holisticlife #holisticmama #holisticapproach #holisticmom #holisticfertility #holisticdoctor

For better or (usually) for worse: 🌟We want to fit in. 🌟We want to live up to the expectations imposed by society. 🌟We want our lives to mirror what we see on social media. 🌟We definitely don't want to feel judged. As a result, we find ourselves continually comparing ourselves to others. But when you stop and think about it, it's so silly. You're you. Not me. Not your mother, your best friend, or anyone else. Why I created the Nourished Fertility group program. Honestly, it came from selfish reasons. When I first started thinking about having a family I quickly realized I knew nothing about fertility and pregnancy so I asked all of my dietitian colleagues for their book recommendations. I learned so much during those first few months and my entire world opened up. I knew nutrition had to play a role in fertility but I never realized just to what extent. I started diving into all of the research and continuing education I could get my hands on. I realized if I didn’t know this stuff, then probably not many did! So I felt an overwhelming responsibility to share. Now years later after working with so many women and couples through their pregnancy journey’s, I have been able to nail down exactly the most important parts of fertility nutrition and lifestyle that I was never taught. So I created the Nourished Fertility program. This is the program I would want for myself preconception (I followed all of these same principles myself before conceiving) and what I would tell to a friend or loved one looking to start or grow a family. My hope is to help you avoid fertility trouble heartache, pregnancy complications, and set you and your growing family up for the best long term health possible. That’s exactly what the Nourished Fertility program does. This program starts Feb 6th but you only have until Feb 3rd to enroll. Spots are limited! The top 3 reasons why natural approaches didn’t work for you before: 👉 You didn’t have enough testing done 👉 You didn’t have a protocol that’s customized to you (because of the lack of testing) 👉 There was not enough follow-through and guidance (ie, see you every 3 months) I know deep down you still believe that natural medicine works and your body is capable of healing - otherwise, you wouldn’t be here scrolling on my page. 😏 And you’re right... It does work. Your body is capable of healing. When people say they have done EVERYTHING, what they really mean is that they’ve done everything that they know of. But that doesn’t mean they actually have done everything... Why? Because there is no such thing. There is literally always something to learn, to try, and to do. It can be super overwhelming though and time-consuming. Trial and error without any guidance and direction is a hot mess. This is why I run lab work. This is why I track data on my patients. This is why I meet with my patients every two weeks. This is why I give my patients access to message me at any time they have questions. This is why I give my patients access to a resource library where you can learn content specific to your needs This shit is hard. This shit is confusing. And doing it alone is the worst. You aren’t broken, you were never taught how your body works. You aren’t cursed, you just need some guidance. You are worthy. You are worthy of getting answers. Worthy of feeling good in your body. Worthy of being heard. Want to work with me? My patient Christina experienced two miscarriages in two years. Here’s her story: “My conventional doctor told me that I need to have three miscarriages before running some lab work and getting help. The problem is, I had a hard time getting pregnant... It could have been another year before I conceived. I’m a nutritionist and advocate for women’s health, waiting for another miscarriage to get help wasn’t something I was willing to settle for. I reached out to Dr. Jane to help me regulate my cycle (I was on birth control for 20 years), improve my digestion and manage my stress. She ran extensive lab work, tracked my data (turns out I wasn’t sleeping enough), and worked with me for 10 months through the ups and downs of my health journey. It wasn’t easy, but I’m so glad that I stuck with it. I still can’t believe I’m pregnant and although the beginning of the pregnancy was full of anxiety (because I was afraid to miscarry again), I’m grateful to have had and continue to have Dr. Jane’s support. “ You don’t have to wait to have another miscarriage to get some help. Takk for åpenheten deres. Takk for tilliten på veien🙏 Det ligger flere gode episoder, gamle og nye på vår podcast. Vi deler både om medisinske tema, personlige historier og tar opp viktige tema knyttet til vår psykiske helse. Loved catching up with this guy and his beautiful mum today! He’s the squishiest 🩷 His conception story is one of my favourite. A very cool story of self advocating, taking a chance and trusting her body’s very capable abilities. The best xx #paigewatersacupuncture #fertilitystory #acupunctureclinic #goldcoastfertilityacupuncture #goldcoastfertility

🇺🇸✏️ After several months of work, I am glad to finally present my new comic project! The topic? ➡️ Our journey to have a baby. 👉I will share with you in the form of drawings, EVERYTHING that we’ve been through to finally become parents: this is a story of over 3 years of hard times, in which you will discover in an intimate way the difficulties, the fears, the doubts, the dark moments but also the moments of joy that our couple was able to go through during this fight. My childhood friend, @manon_cochet_illustration , illustrator, agreed to follow me in this fabulous editorial adventure, and I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I also want to thank Jyll Vidal, my American friend who helped me to proofread the comic (not the Instagram text content, so please forgive my English that is not always perfect 🥸) Finally, I would like to thank Prof. Michael Grynberg, international figure specialized in reproductive medecine, for his support during our fight to have a baby and also for his valuable medical expertise in certain passages of the comic strip. I’m Lea, I’m French, I live in California and this is my story 📖 ___ 🇫🇷✏️ Après plusieurs mois de travail, je vous présente enfin mon nouveau projet BD !
