She worries, as all mothers do, as did her mom before her. grateful for the sepal support, and the injured leaf sister she must protect; Her daughter, must bloom full term, perfect in her shapely petal features, she has an amazing DNA to thank. Meanwhile, the grandma, a level higher, pulls her sepals together, and cribs to the attentive leaf about her wayward petals; Roughened in the sun, lessons from a life in wild winds; Now waiting for the grandchild. The great grandma, a life spent in the harsh sun, knows cycles of life.
