Riding to 2022 be like !! 🛵 . Year 2021 was slow but not a dead ride. It was better but not the best. We made mistakes and we learned. We lost few connections but made new beautiful ones too. We made decisions and choices that fitted the best for us. We let go so many discussions we knew are not right but that made our head and heart so much lighter and in better place. Nothing came easy but it was rewarding. The year was all about being content with a smile than to feel toxic and defeated. Thankyou everyone on checking the boys after Yesterday’s Reel. The boys are doing much better. Aadiv has no fever but is low on energy. . For those who asked what happened to our kiddoz, a quick description. Elder one complained of severe ear pain & had high fever on Christmas Eve. We thought he caught some viral infection and gave him pain reliever and allergy medicine & put him to bed. Next day he looked fine but again at midnight the fever spiked up to 105F and he shivered with chills & bodyache too. He even complained that he was not able to hear us clear and loud( that panicked us). We immediately took him to Urgent Care and doc explained that these were side effects of Allergy medicine (that we got for him over-the-counter for runny nose). That no doubt cured his runny nose but the mucus thickened around his ear n caused ear infection & hence that high fever. Glad we were able to find a cure sooner than later & the antibiotics is taking its time. Extra snuggles, story-time and cuddles did the magic. Shinrin-yoku - Forest bathing. This is the practice of spending time in a forest and opening all of your senses to the natural surroundings. Being immersed in the sights, sounds and smells of the forest. It’s pretty hard to do when I have Sebastian with me, but when I have done it, it’s really quite special. I think Sebastian will grow to love the woods as much as I do. He was gazing at the trees here, the colours and the light that was filtering through the leaves. It was lovely to watch his amazement.
