For a month, the boys must live within the school's very own penal system while enduring long, hard, and humiliating tasks. If you've seen the anime or read the manga, then it's pretty much just a live action remake of that. It was a bit weird at first, but as it went on, I started to enjoy it. There are some parts that don't have the same impact that the anime had, like punches and kicks. But the actors and actresses did their roles pretty good. The remake of Suspiria was awesome. It’s hard to say which is better: original or remake seeing as they are totally different feel wise(original being more campy/colorful and the remake more gritty and realistic). One of the things I enjoy the remake more that has something over the original is the dancing. The dance sequences in this movie are astonishing and amazingly done. Definitely recommend it. Lorsque j’ai entendu l’annonce d’un RE3 remake j’étais aux anges mais j’ai pas trop voulus me renseigner. Alors qu’elle ne fut pas ma surprise lorsque j’ai vue un changement de design sur certain perso😭 Jill ressemble à Jill rien de grave jusque-là, Carlos littéralement stéréotypé chanteur BG mexicain😂 Et il y a nemesis 😱 la tête est horrible (ce qui est normal), vient sa tenue (de la pâté pour chien qui déborde d’un sac poubelle avec des logos Biohazard). Où est passer sa tenue en cuire de mastodonte bourrin 😢 Pour le reste le moteur graphique est très bien exploité et les changements sont là mais la nostalgie opère, j’ai eu des flashbacks de la version PS1 (ça me rajeunit pas🤫) Pour les changements et bien un monde semi-ouvert, un nemesis ultra résistant (il posera un genoux à terre comme si il avait pris un coup dans ses coronavirus) 💪ainsi qu’un système d’esquive plutôt sympa. Point noir sur le tableau mais ça sera toujours un éternel problème la caméra qui parfois nous mettra dans de mauvaises postures.🥺 Résultat : Très bon jeux.👌 Même si certains choix de design sont discutables. Le jeu est aussi bien pour les anciens 😅 que pour les nouveaux venus. Capcom fait encore une fois un très bon remake. Dawn of the Dead (2004) I’ve never been merciful to Zack Snyder’s movies. Man of Steel and Batman v Superman were just awful and incompetent films by him. This is one of the few films that Snyder actually managed to pull off. Snyder was able to capture the grit and terror of a sudden zombie apocalypse while also orchestrating some solid character building. Each character in this film has some form of personality, even if several of them aren’t properly explored. The acting is all pretty solid, and I don’t recall a truly bad performance from any actor. The zombies in this movie are effectively deadly, and aren’t just a bunch of slow meatbags that come out as cheap jumpscares to just be easily disposed of. There are some disturbing images and Zack Snyder’s directorial style can elevate the horrifying elements of this film. There are some cheesy moments in this film though. SPOILER ALERT, but there’s a very poorly computer animated zombie baby that just shrieked as soon as it appeared and got shot. The moments prior were rather chilling, but that moment just felt so goofy and killed the tone. I do admire the feeling of not being able to escape throughout the film, with these characters being trapped in a mall having nowhere to go. I’m going to take some flack for this, but I prefer the remake of Fright Night to the original. Craig Gillespie is a criminally underrated director who with Marti Noxon’s updated script that retained the general outline, but made some nice changes turned in a killer film. The cast is perfect. Anytime I rewatch Anton Yelchin in any film it makes me upset that we’ll never see him give another performance. He was on the cusp of great things and was tragically lost too soon. David Tennant’s rendition of Peter Vincent was a fun differentiation of the original character. Throw in Colin Farrell’s amazingly sinister Jerry, Christopher Mintz-Plasse hamming it up, the always amazing Toni Collette, and Imogen Poots given more than the obligatory girlfriend role. Aside the forced 3D shots put into the film (good lord, that 3D craze was annoying) this film is awesome.
