The first red sipped in over a month, preferring cold bottles during the extended heat wave, this old vine Mondeuse from Jean Perrier and sons was delightful! Juicy black cherry, black berry and violets wafted from my glass. Yet the change after sitting in fresh air was amazing – it became red-fruited with cherries and cassis. If you handed me a glass of before and after, I would not say they were the same wine! Full of forest freshness and spice, bright acidity, and fine tannins that lightly brushed over the tongue. A medium body and finish of white pepper and forest floor. Spectacular with grilled duck breast on a bed of cumin and lime-spiced black beans topped with guacamole and sautéed mixed mushrooms. Roasted zucchini and yellow squash finished with a white miso slur. Mondeuse is mostly found in the Savoie and Bugey regions of Eastern France with a few bits in Argentina, Australia, California (thanks to @lagiermeredith ), Oregon, Switzerland and Sicily. Chignin Bergeron... Fleur de Roussanne savoyarde 🎁 Ce Chignin Bergeron de @vins_de_savoie_perrier est un très grand vin blanc, ample et généreux, une petite "pépite" de Savoie à découvrir. Avec son nez d'abricots secs, d'amandes et de raisins secs, il offre en bouche une amplitude sur des notes abricotées et ananas. La gourmandise et la fraîcheur s'expriment sur des notes épicées en fin de bouche. Découverte des Alpes ! 🏞🇩🇰 Cuvée Gastronomie 2020, Jean Perrier et Fils (Apremont, Savoie, France) | Si les plus anciens écrits mentionnant le vignoble savoyard remontent au premier siècle après J.C., alors que la région est sous emprise romaine, ce n’est qu’avec le développement des sports d’hiver et du tourisme qui en résulte que le pays des Allobroges s’impose dans le paysage viticole français. Malgré leur notoriété relativement faible, les vins de Savoie offrent souvent un excellent rapport qualité-prix et font de très bons accords avec des plats typiques des Alpes comme la raclette, la tartiflette et, bien entendu, la fondue savoyarde ! Occupant près de 50% du vignoble, le Jacquère — cépage blanc traditionnel de l’Apremont — est à l’honneur dans cette jeune cuvée de la maison Perrier trois fois primée dans le Top 100 de Wine Spectator. D’une teinte or blanc très pâle, voire cristalline, ce vin bien droit dégage fraîcheur et élégance alors que des notes de fleurs blanches (aubépine) et de pomme verte se profilent au nez. En bouche, l’équilibre et la pureté sont indéniables. En plus des arômes de poire et de citron, on y décèle une acidité bien dosée ainsi qu’une minéralité assumée qui rappelle la pierre à fusil. Den har en fruktig doft och smak av jordgubbar, blodapelsin, hallon och svag doft av rosor. 골드색. 파인애플, 모과 등 숙성된 과일향. 그리고 그린애플과 똑 쏘는 허브향이 프릇프릇하다. 입안에서는 꽤 센 산미와 부들두들한 유질감의 밸런스가 좋다. 오크 터치와 청량감이 공존하는 재미있는 화이트. 마시는 내내 뭐지 뭐지 하다 끝나 버림... 처음 마셔보는 품종이라 다시 한번 마셔봐야겠다. 분명한건 굉장히 섬세한 느낌의 잘 만든 와인이라는 것!! #jeanperrieretfils #roussettedesavoie #altesse

Savoie Apremont Cuvee Gastronomie 2019 / Jean Perrier et Fils サオヴォワ アプルモン キュヴェ・ガストロノミー / ジャン・ピエール・エ・フィス おそらく初めて買ったサヴォワのワイン。ジュラは買っているけれどね。過去のビンテージがワインスペクテイターのTOP 100に入ったというショップの売り文句にひかれて購入。 ジャケール（Jacquere）という初見のブドウ。調べてみると、シャスラ共にサヴォワ地方の代表的なブドウらしい。 味わいは、ライトからミディアムで、ローヌの白から熱量を除いたような雰囲気。わかりづらい表現だけれど、アロマティックではなく、シャルドネのような親しみやすさもない。 2,000円アンダーなので不満もないけれど、かといって単体でひかれる要素もない。キュヴェ・ガストロノミーという名前のように、料理と合わせて引き立つワインなのかも。 ★★＋ #ジャンピエールエフィス #jeanperrieretfils #サヴォワワイン #savoiexwine #フランスワイン #frenchwine

サヴォワに惹かれて。Roussette de Savoie Cuvée Gastronomieは、Altesseのまろやかさとフレッシュな香りが調和して大好き。カクカクしているワインになかなか馴染めない私にはあっているのかも。ワインはたくさんいただきたい種類があるのですが、できたらリピートしたいです。 今日は沖島のエビがふんだんに、そして無農薬の人参の葉っぱでガレット。つなぎにジャガイモも使わない。これはもう最高です。 Dreaming Savoie.
