Be someone who makes you happy! Oh yes, I know it feels good being complimented or praised for things we do. But you know what, it's something that just makes you feel good and happy in the moment. For feeling happy most of the time, happiness needs to lie within you, and yes, that is part of the inner growth journey too. Inner growth doesn't just mean working on things from the past, switching limiting beliefs, forgiving others, or letting go of situations that trigger us. Yes, this is important in the beginning so that you will be more in the now, being present. But for being happy now, it takes gratitude, the challenge of learning to be with yourself, or seeing the beauty in the small things. Waking up this morning thinking, " soberity is the best gift I've given myself "!!! These exact beach rocks I'm on celebrating 8 years clean & sober on today, is one of the spots I would come to get drunk/high at to escape from reality. To escape and take more and more substances to not want to feel or deal with reality. To be on such a high/fade that I would have no care or worries about anyone or anything. But now I'm able to come to this spot with soberity in hand and feel everything. Sometimes I come here with myself to cry or meditate...sometimes with friends to walk along the upper rocks and connect... today I'm here with my son with smiles on my face and such gratitude celebrating my soberity. I am truly grateful for everyone who has been a support system for me over the years. Those who have guided me, taught me, have had patience with me, hugged me, danced with me, laughed and cried with me, been playful with me, but most of all those who have allowed me to be my most authentic self and continue to be by my side. Ich war in einem Angestelltenverhältnis, fühlte mich wir eingesperrt, war immer wieder schlecht gelaunt, wusste nicht warum. Energielosigkeit und nichts unternehmen wollen kamen dazu. Ich wusste und spürte seit ich in die Arbeitswelt eingetreten bin, das ich nicht für den klassischen 08/15 Job und von 9 to 5 geschaffen bin. Aber was tun? Ohne einem richtigen Plan aber dem unendlichen Drang nach Unabhängigkeit bin ich in die Welt der Spiritualität abgetaucht. Und auch dieser Begriff bedeutet für jeden etwas anderes. Ich habe eine Meditations- & Achtsamkeitslehrerausbildung begonnen, Kurse in Persönlichkeitsentwicklung belegt und eine Yogalehrerausbildung gemacht. Genau meins. Dieses Gefühl von "jetzt hast du gefunden was du tun möchtest" war unbeschreiblich. Allerdings war ich immer noch 40h angestellt und konnte nur nebenbei dem nachgehen was mich zu 100% erfüllt hat. Also was tun? Richtig. Ich habe gekündigt. Ohne zu wissen in welches Gewässer ich mich begeben werde, ob ich finanziell davon leben kann, ob es richtig ist. Aber all das war mir egal. Ich spürte die Leidenschaft dahinter, wie sehr ich damit raus gehen wollte, ich brenne dafür und genau das ist es was es schlussendlich ausmacht.
