DEV PATEL LLEGA A LOS 34 AÑOS El actor londinense de origen indio Dev Patel nació el 23 de abril de 1990. Ha recibido varios galardones, entre ellos un British Academy Film Award (BAFTA) y nominaciones a un Óscar y dos Globos de Oro. Patel fue incluido en la lista de Time de las 100 personas más influyentes del mundo en 2024. Su papel en el drama de Danny Boyle “¿Quién quiere ser millonario?” (Slumdog Millionaire, 2008) le valió una nominación al premio BAFTA al mejor actor protagonista. Su carrera se amplió con papeles protagonistas en las comedias-dramas “El mejor hotel exótico Marigold” (2011) y “El segundo hotel exótico Marigold” (2015), el thriller “Chappie” (2015) y un papel secundario en la serie de HBO “The Newsroom” (2012-2014). Por su interpretación como Saroo Brierley en “Lion” (2016), Patel ganó el premio BAFTA al mejor actor de reparto y fue nominado al Óscar al mejor actor de reparto.
