Driving an electric car has a benefit you wouldnt even consider. Unlike traditional fuel vehicles, you get much better mileage using A roads compared to motorways. Thats why when setting my Sat Nav I go for shortest routes instead of shortest times and this often takes you places you would never consider. We took a route back from Halifax that went through the Peak District and it gave us one of the best views we've had. This picture is taken at Holme Moss, 1719ft above sea level on a car park at the summit!! Views went for miles and miles and looking east I'm not sure there is a higher peak and you probably could see Leeds, Doncaster, Sheffield and maybe even Grimbsy.
