Method: ๐ฅ First start with the filling by creaming together peanut butter and powdered sugar. Ingredients: ๐ฅจ 1 cup butter ๐ฅจ 1 1/4 cup brown sugar ๐ฅจ 1/4 cup sugar ๐ฅจ 1 whole egg & 1 egg yolk ๐ฅจ 1 tbsp vanilla ๐ฅจ 2 1/4 cups flour ๐ฅจ 1 tsp baking soda ๐ฅจ 1 tsp sea salt ๐ฅจ 3/4 cup butterscotch chips ๐ฅจ 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips ๐ฅจ 1 cup chopped pretzels . . . Directions: ๐ฅจ In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat while stirring until it starts to slightly boil. Cook and stir until butter starts to turn a light amber/dark gold color. Remove from heat, cool for 15-20 minutes. ๐ฅจ Preheat oven to 350F and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a mixing bowl to add in brown sugar, sugar and vanilla to cooled butter, whisk until combined. Fold in flour, baking soda and salt. ๐ฅจ Fold in chocolate & butterscotch chips & pretzels ๐ฅจ Roll into balls (approx 2-3 inches to accommodate pretzels) and drop onto baking sheet. Healthyish peanut butter banana oat bars! I had 2 bananas frozen that were super ripe and ready to be used so instead of filling up on more banana bread I decided to try these oat bars. They could easily be dairy free if you used dairy free chocolate chips as well! ๐ . . . Ingredients: ๐ 2 medium bananas ripened ๐ 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter ๐ 1/4 cup brown sugar ๐ 1 egg ๐ 1/2 cup almond milk ๐ 2 1/2 cups old fashion oats. ๐ 1 tsp baking powder ๐ 1/2 tsp salt ๐ 1 tsp cinnamon ๐ 1 tsp vanilla extract. ๐ 1 cup chocolate chips . . . Steps: ๐ Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper with some overhang so theyโre easy to pull out later.. ๐ Mash bananas in electric mixer. Add each ingredient in order while mixing in medium speed until all ingredients are combined. ๐ Pour mixture into baking pan, and spread evenly. Bake for 26-28 minutes. ๐ Let cool for 30-60 minutes and transfer entire pan to fridge for at least 1 hour. So I decided to try air frying dumplings last week. They were interesting to say the least! Made the wonton wrappers myself from scratch since I couldnโt find any in the grocery store, so they wouldโve been better with the pre-made wrappers but overall they were still tasty! And best of all, no oil required! ๐ฅ . . . I filled these with ground chicken, diced peppers, scallion & garlic. The sauce included soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic and ginger. Itโs finally feeling like summer out there today so Iโm sharing my bbq chicken quinoa bowl! I make the chicken by putting 2 whole breasts into a crock pot and coat with โG Hughesโ sugar free original bbq sauce (you wouldnโt even know itโs sugar free it tastes delicious!) and I cook on high for 4 hours. I take the breasts out and use 2 forks to pull the chicken and mix back in with the sauce. The bowl has quinoa, black beans, corn, pan seared zucchini, avocado and topped with fresh squeezed lime juice.
