A recycled photo this morning (sorry, not sorry) because I was stuck in the car for what seemed like 36 hours yesterday and the only thing I got to photograph was the huge queue of traffic on the M11. But we still arrived at the airport (just) in time to meet @spannerjack79! Stansted airport then kindly charged us £18 for the privilege parking for 44 minutes - 10 of which were spent driving around looking for a space to park! What a rip off. We then took a huge detour home to avoid the 15 mile tailback on the M11, finally stopping at Cambridge services for coffee and a pasty. And did you know that half the concessions in there close at 5pm?? Motorway services and Costa closes at 5pm? I had a bit of a rant but it fell on deaf ears because no one actually seems to care about customer service these days! We have a habit of hitting problems when we collect Anna from airports. A couple of years ago we picked her up at Gatwick and it took us 11 hours to get home after we got stuck behind a lorry fire! Police eventually came and reversed the traffic around one at a time to travel back down the wrong side of the motorway .. never a dull moment!!
