It is said to be a mix of fire and water. It handles digestion, metabolism, and, transformation. It also promotes intelligence, courage, and a sharp mind. When 'pitta' is just right, we feel strong, determined, and full of life, our digestion is strong, and our metabolism is efficient, helping us maintain energy and vitality throughout the day. Too much 'pitta' can make us irritated or mess with our digestion. When we have too much pitta, it's good to eat cooling foods and do things that calm us down. To say it was a STRUGGLE is an understatement. I felt like I was drowning under motherhood and the steep learning curve of this new career path. I had been trying to emulate other successful business owners, trying to show up in ways I thought I SHOULD, but feeling like I was hitting a wall. Felt like a hippie in this outfit & hairstyle😅🙌☮️✌️🌈 This is your reminder to remember to rest and that it's okay to give yourself permission to!! It's important & should be a regular priority/practice to come back to❤️ Rest is actually productive!😌🩷🌞⚡️🛏 I was completely inactive all of last week, especially not posting on my stories, which really wasn't like me!☹️ I was soo fatigued & in pain🥱😴💊 I just slept all day everyday, for 15+ hours a day & I hardly had screen time because of severe migraines!🤕😵💫 I could barely eat & had stomach aches too.. 🌟I feel like it was the universe telling me to slow down & prioritise rest, as I guess my body needed it. So I listened to my body, and did hardly nothing for a couple of days, and it felt good & I was grateful for it in the end tbh🙏 And if you don't rest, sometimes the universes only way of sending you the message & getting through to you is to make you ill!!🤣🤷♀️💯 It reminded me of what it felt like when my chronic pain/illness was at a really bad point a couple of years ago..
