Do you feel hopeless and helpless and have you always felt like this? These recurring patterns often have their roots in childhood experiences. Attachment issues stem from someone being unable to authentically connect to a safe adult when they were a child. This lack of connection results in a deep, unconscious fear of abandonment or rejection. The child feels anxious that the authentic version of them is too much, or too messed-up for anyone to accept, so in order to cope with this fear, they try to mask who they are by pretending they have no needs or desires. However, all humans have  needs and desires and these will be left unmet if you live this way. The price to pay for giving up on yourself often results in anxiety, depression, hopelessness, and even physical symptoms and illness. If this resonates, please understand you mustn't beat yourself up about these patterns. Your mind has done its job brilliantly! It came up with these patterns of behaviour to keep you safe from what it downloaded as representing "danger" to you when you were very young. You learned that expressing yourself authentically was not going to get you what you needed.. This adapted pattern of behaviour no doubt worked well to begin with, you did survive after all but now you are no longer a child. You are a grown adult with strengths, talents and capabilities. You don’t need to feel hopeless and helpless anymore because you are not! It just still feels that way.  In our work together, we look back at your past and at all the negative beliefs about  yourself that you collected along the way. Together we will eradicate and eliminate those beliefs that are no longer serving you and replace them with empowering ones instead. You will feel far calmer, centred, confident and optimistic. ✨STRONG MINDSET✨ One of the many life lessons my beautiful mother instilled in me from a very young age was, “The Power of YOUR Mind”. Your mind is a POWERFUL tool if you use it wisely. Using it wisely in the way you talk about yourself TO YOURSELF & to OTHERS. The way you SAY things & HOW you say it. There’s always a positive way of wording things. I truly believe that envisioning yourself in the future & how you want things to turn out for yourself in a positive way is building your mind to radiate GOOD OPPORTUNITIES to come to you! A simple saying my mum use to tell me, “What You Think is What You Get”. At the time I was like yeah yeah like that will work. (Rolling eyes) but it DOES! No one really knows what causes a panic attack to come on. Some medical professionals say that they can be related to hereditary factors, some say to stress. Some say if you have a history of a mental disorder, such as depression or a phobia, you are more likely to experience panic attacks. Know that you are not alone. Panic attacks can be broken down into three distinct types; spontaneous, specific and situational. All fairly self-explanatory, although some people may suffer from a panic attack only once in their lifetime, others can suffer from repeated panic attacks. When feeling anxious, stop what you are doing and try to do something that will relax you. Find something to do for a few minutes to get your mind off the problem. Get some fresh air, listen to some music or do an activity that will give a fresh perspective on things. Remember that our fearful thoughts are exaggerated and can make the problem worse. A good way to manage worry is to challenge your negative thinking with positive statements and realistic thinking. It is the fear behind the thoughts that gets us worked up. Remember that all the worrying in the world will not change anything. I have come to realise that most of what we worry about never comes true. Concentrate on what you are able to do. Take it slow. All you can do is to do your best each day. Take things one step at a time, and things will work out - they always do. I've been using affirmations for years but never felt real benefits until I learned to apply them correctly. Here are 5 Affirmation Hacks for best results: - create affirmations as approach goals. Something you want not something you want to avoid. Example: instead of saying “I don’t eat junk food” say “I fuel my body with healthy food for energy” - Affirmations must be something you genuinely believe and are excited about. Not something you doubt or are afraid of. - Create your affirmations to ‘build bridges’ to goals that you don’t yet believe completely by saying things like, “I’m in the process of…”, “I’m currently building or creating…”, “I’m learning to” - Affirm in the present tense as if they are your current reality. - Avoid using “I’m trying to” or “I’m working to” when building your bridge, by using these phases you are effectively building struggle into your affirmations which I am confident is not something you're looking to manifest. " The hardest prison to escape is in our own minds"! For me this quote is epic, and close to my heart, as over the years I have certainly found this to be true. My greatest and most constant battle in fact! As someone who has suffered a lot of self doubt, anxiety, and depression, the power of my mind is an ever present reminder to be vigilant, when it comes to the thoughts I entertain and feed. Being known as The Joy Maker, it may come as a surprise to many that I have struggled through these feelings. But in fact, it is what gives me the power to connect with people so deeply. My own battles somehow make empathy and compassion easy! I know the fight because I have lived it. And what I have learned over the years is this: 🌟 You really need to have a " guard at the gate ", when it comes to your mind. As soon as you hear negative talk enter your space, you need to show it the door quickly and decisively. 🌟 If you are around people who put you down with negative or toxic thoughts about yourself, you need to limit the time you spend with them. 🌟 You need to actively engage in positive self-talk to negate the imposters at the border of your mind! Put simply, if you are prone to negative self-talk and thoughts, you must take action to reframe yourself, and your abilities within your own mind. Here are some of mine that work a treat: 🎈Get out into nature for a walk and actively notice all the beauty around you. Write a list and say thank you for your surrounds. 🎈 Do some exercise that gets your body going and puts the focus back onto your physicality, and out of your mind. 🎈 Have your I AM affirmations at the ready and get going with them ASAP I AM CAPABLE I AM HAPPY I AM GRATEFUL 🎈 Phone a friend [ the last thing you often want to do ] and organise to meet up for a walk or a coffee. Human connection and being with someone you trust can be a real tonic when you are feeling low. 🎈 Volunteer or help someone in need. We need to understand that our thoughts have no meaning, things out there have no meaning. We are the ones who give meaning to everything. We need to understand that we are the only ones responsible for everything that happens in our lives; no one is responsible for our choices; here in this dimension, at this moment, we are choosing to live according to the meaning we give to everything. We have to remember that all people, friends or enemies, are like us, children of God and consequently we are all light, the only thing that differentiates us is the stage of consciousness that each one is at. By understanding this, acting with compassion, we leave the state of victim and assume the role of warriors, warriors of God, ready to do what we promised to do before coming. Fight for the freedom of our soul and help our brothers on this planet. My daily struggle is to keep the light of the sacred heart burning within me to illuminate everyone around me with words and attitudes based on love, not letting the plots of the Matrix transform into a reality that is not mine. Hard work in the face of so much negative energy around us. But every night before going to sleep, the feeling of accomplishment, having let Christ guide me and not what comes from outside, purifies my soul. I can fall 10 times a day in the face of adversity without acting with love, but as I keep my flame alive, I can see Christ holding my hand and saying: daughter, look into my eyes, remember your faith, I am here, nothing around you exist this way, remember, you are my image and likeness so nothing can hurt you, because the only truth is Me and the love of God, rest in this and everything will be lighter. Thousands may try to silence you because you carry the Divine light within you, but only ONE gives you the power to face this storm: God! It will not be anger, resentment, fear, anxiety, stress, sadness, judgment, or criticism that will guide you back to your true home. How can I help in this storm these days?
