De kaardebol. Een prachtige, stekelige dame. Dit is wat ik weet,....... Grote kaardenbol - Dipsacus fullonum Aan haar grote stekelige hoofdjes met daarin lila bloemen is de Grote kaardenbol in de zomer goed te herkennen. Ook de stekelige bladeren en stengels vallen direct op, terwijl het stagnerende regenwater in de vergroeide bladvoeten een uniek verschijnsel is in onze flora. Er bestaan 14 Soorten uit de ,...verrassing,...kamperfoelie familie. Het woord kaarde is afgeleid van het woord Carduus, Latijn voor distel. Dipsacus is afgeleid van dipsao = ik heb dorst of dipsa = dorst. Wat weer slaat op de kommetjes die de bladeren vormen rond de stam waar water in blijft staan. Het schijnt zo te zijn dat de insecten die daar invallen met behulp van bacteriën verteren en dienen als voedsel voor de plant. Fullonum komt van het latijnse Fullo en betekent wolkammer. Dit omdat vroeger met behulp van de gedroogde bloemhoofden de wol werd gekaard/gekamd. De zaden van de kaardebol worden graag door Putters (distelvinkjes) gegeten. De grote kaardebol is twee jarig en kan wel tot 2,50 m. hoog worden. Vor zwei Jahren während meiner Visionssuche wurde ich, Benjamin, von einer Borrelioseinfektion durch einen Zeckenbiss heimgesucht. Zunächst behandelte ich sie auf Anraten meiner Ärztin mit Antibiotika, jedoch ohne Erfolg. Im folgenden Jahr litt ich unter starken Gelenkschmerzen in meinen Füßen. Da die Wilde Karde für ihre Wirksamkeit gegen Borreliose bekannt ist, begann ich intensiv nach dieser Pflanze zu suchen, jedoch lange vergeblich. Schließlich fand ich sie eher zufällig etwa 80 km entfernt. Sie stand in einem trockenen Flussbett und schien nicht besonders kräftig zu sein. Auch die Tinktur aus ihr erwies sich als wirkungslos. Etwas später stieß ich am Straßenrand auf eine große Menge an Karden. Wir machten eine Vollbremsung, und ich kämpfte mich durchs Gestrüpp, um an die kostbaren Pflanzen zu gelangen. Die Wurzeln waren kräftig und saftig. Es war mühsam, sie mit einem Taschenmesser aus dem Kiesbett zu bergen, aber ich spürte schon die heilende Kraft dieser Pflanze. Meine Arme waren blutig und juckten vom Pflanzensaft. Es schien, als müsste ich auch etwas von mir geben, damit die ganze Sache funktioniert. Zuhause schnitt ich die Wurzeln klein und extrahierte einen Alkoholauszug. Nach etwa vier Wochen konnte ich die Tinktur erstmals einnehmen. Nach dreimaliger Anwendung waren alle meine Gelenkschmerzen verschwunden, und ich fühle mich seither wieder gesund. Diese Pflanze ist ein großer Segen. Und welche Überraschung, als ich am Wochenende Holz für unseren Trommelbaukurs aus unserer Scheune holte - direkt vor unserer Tür - wächst eine kleine Karde. De grote kaardebol! Wat een woeste inheemse plant. Druk bezocht door veel insecten tijdens de bloei en de zaden zijn zeer geliefd bij Putters in het najaar. Je hebt er wel wat ruimte voor nodig, maar zeker de moeite waard. Uno squalo bianco ha 250 denti disposti su 5 file e può raggiungere una lunghezza di 5 metri...5 metri...è quanto una cosa di un metro per altre 5 volte. Troppo grande e dentato per essere amato. Poi non ricordo cosa è successo, ma quello che prima era solo uno sfondo anonimo di tutti sti esseri è diventato protagonista e mi ha travolto stravolto. Perché? Den skal bli minst 150 cm høy. Jeg tenker den vil passe bra i mitt store naturinspirerte, Innsektsvennlige bed. Planten er toårig og blomstrer normalt andre året. Jeg sådde direkte ved bare å kaste ut frø i bedet i midten av mai, og det kom flere bladrosetter på sensommeren. De har holdt seg grønne gjennom vinteren. Nå venter jeg spent på blomstringen til sommeren. Kardeborre skal blomstre juli- september og den selvsår.🌱🌱 Jeg har kun sett planten i blomst en gang, da jeg besøkte @gunneboslott. Der stod den høy og flott i urtehagen.
