Bliss is on the other side of fully touching your unwanted emotions and repressed parts. 💥 For many years, I was holding a big amount of repressed anger, I was not fully aware of. I buried it inside because I was not allowed to express it. It was shutting down my life force and aliveness. Repressed anger turned against me and showed up as an outburst of self-loathing and harsh self-criticism. Until I was introduced to somatic work and learned to move and express repressed emotions through the whole body… At the core of anger, rage, grief, fear, bitchiness, self-loathing, and anguish is energy. For the energy to be released it needs to be expressed and received by someone who can help you to ground and release it. It’s important to be held in a safe container where you can go FULL in. Touching the most undesirable, unwanted, overwhelming parts and emotions. Giving them a voice. Expressing them with your whole body…with your tissues and bones. Allowing to be witnessed in your full-body expression. Surrendering head to the body, movement, sound, and the beat of music. Losing yourself to find the fullness of who you came here to be… On the other side - you feel FREE. Liberated. You feel more alive. You feel more available to love and intimacy with all of life. More of your essential self comes online.
