🤝 🚿 Une étape cruciale de la rénovation de la maison, où tout était à repenser, a été la transformation de la cuisine et de la salle de bain du rez-de-chaussée. 👨🍳 Pour la cuisine, nous avons choisi de l’ouvrir sur le patio pour favoriser les échanges et la convivialité, la revêtant entièrement de Zellige. De même, la salle de bain, autrefois de simples toilettes turques, a été métamorphosée en un véritable espace toilettes et douche, également orné de Zellige. ☪️ Le Zellige, véritable joyau de l’artisanat marocain, est une mosaïque décorative omniprésente dans la culture islamique. Chaque motif raconte une histoire, porte en lui une signification ancestrale. Intégrer le Zellige dans la Maison Solidaire, en rénovant les motifs existants et en en ajoutant dans les pièces d’eau, était un hommage inévitable à cette richesse culturelle. 🙏 Ces réalisations n’auraient pu voir le jour sans l’expertise d’un artisan du quartier, Saïd, qui a travaillé selon les méthodes traditionnelles, insufflant ainsi à chaque carreau de Zellige une histoire et une âme unique. 🚿 كانت المرحلة الحاسمة في تجديد المنزل، حيث كان لا بد من إعادة التفكير في كل شيء، هي تحويل المطبخ والحمام في الطابق الأرضي. 👨🍳 في حالة المطبخ، اخترنا أن نفتحه على الفناء لتشجيع التفاعل والعيش المشترك، وقمنا بتغطيته بالكامل من الزليج. وبالمثل، تم تحويل الحمّام، الذي كان عبارة عن مرحاض تركي بسيط، إلى مرحاض حقيقي ومنطقة استحمام حقيقية، مزينة أيضًا بالزليج. ☪️ الزليج هو جوهرة الحرفية المغربية، وهو عبارة عن فسيفساء زخرفية موجودة في كل مكان في الثقافة الإسلامية. كل زخرفة تحكي قصة وتحمل معنى متوارثاً عن الأجداد. كان دمج الزليج في دار سوليدير، من خلال تجديد الزخارف الموجودة وإضافة المزيد في غرف المياه، تقديراً حتمياً لهذه الثروة الثقافية. 🙏 ما كان لهذه الإبداعات أن تكون ممكنة لولا خبرة الحرفي المحلي سعيد الذي عمل بالطرق التقليدية، مما أعطى كل بلاطة زليج قصة وروحاً فريدة من نوعها. #artlove #meetartists #morocco #fes #fezmorocco #FezMedina #lesfassinants #maisonsolidaire #dartadamoun #cocreation #artpeace #artassociation #crossculture

Elle a été un pilier inébranlable du projet, offrant son soutien inconditionnel dans les bons comme dans les moments difficiles, nous régalant de plats délicieux empreints d’amour. Sa présence chaleureuse et réconfortante est une source inestimable de force pour la maison. 🌈 Rencontrer une âme aussi généreuse que la sienne est rare… Sans elle, nous n’aurions jamais pu entreprendre la rénovation de cette maison avec autant de dévouement. 🤝 🤲 Pour certains aspects spécifiques, tels que le plâtrage des murs ou les travaux structuraux du bâtiment, nous avons fait appel à des artisans locaux. Parmi eux, nous avons eu la chance extraordinaire de collaborer avec Ba Mohammed, un artisan d’exception doublé d’une grande générosité... 🤍 Grâce à son expertise, nous avons pu appliquer une couche de chaux sur l’ensemble des murs que nous avions préalablement dénudés. Pour cette tâche, il nous a fait découvrir la pierre de chaux blanche, que nous mélangeons dans une eau portée à 90°C, produisant une vapeur qui emplit toute la maison, avant d’être étalée sur les murs. Cette méthode, ancrée dans la tradition des maisons marocaines, a servi de pilier, de fondation à la rénovation du projet. 🙏 Un immense merci à tous les amis de la médina qui ont contribué à cette étape cruciale du projet, et qui sont désormais chez eux à DarTadamoun, leur présence étant une pierre angulaire de notre Maison Solidaire. Ils y seront à jamais les bienvenus ! 🤲 بالنسبة لبعض الجوانب المحددة، مثل تجصيص الجدران أو الأعمال الإنشائية في المبنى، قمنا بالاستعانة بالحرفيين المحليين. من بين هؤلاء، كنا محظوظين للغاية بالعمل مع با محمد، وهو حرفي استثنائي وكريم للغاية أيضاً... 🤍 وبفضل خبرته، تمكنا بفضل خبرته من وضع طبقة من الجير على جميع الجدران التي كنا قد جردناها من الجدران في السابق. ومن أجل هذه المهمة، عرّفنا على الحجر الجيري الأبيض الذي نقوم بخلطه في ماء ساخن حتى 90 درجة مئوية، مما ينتج عنه بخار يملأ المنزل بأكمله، قبل أن يتم نشره على الجدران. كانت هذه الطريقة، المتجذرة في تقاليد المنازل المغربية، بمثابة الركيزة والأساس لتجديد المشروع. 🙏 شكراً جزيلاً لجميع الأصدقاء من المدينة المنورة الذين ساهموا في هذه المرحلة الحاسمة من المشروع، والذين هم الآن في بيتنا في دار التضامن، ووجودهم حجر الزاوية في دار التضامن. سيكونون دائماً موضع ترحيب هنا! #artlove #meetartists #morocco #fezmorocco #FezMedina #LesFassinants #DarTadamoun #MaisonSolidaire #cocreation #artpeace #artassociation #crossculture

Next Friday May 10th at 16:00 @KunstcemtrumK38 is the opening of the 'Verkuno 25 Jaar!' group art show that celebrates the 25th anniversary of the art association Verkuno! 🎉 I recently became a member of Verkuno and I'm very excited to be participating in this special exposition! 🥰 Each artist will be showing one old artwork and two or more new pieces that will display the development of their artwork throughout the course of the last 25 years. Verkuno has also created a special book titled 'Vonk tot Vlam' about each member of the art association and their creative practice and sources of inspiration. The book will be available for purchase at the show. After the opening the show will be on display from May 11th through June 2nd. Each person who visits the show will receive a free lottery ticket, and on June 2nd at 16:00 three people will win a free artwork which they can choose from a special selection that will also be on display at Kunstcentrum K38 in Roden. 🤝 👷♂️ Comment évoquer cette extraordinaire aventure sans célébrer ce qui a véritablement animé notre projet ? Dépourvus de financement externe, les travaux de la Maison Solidaire ont été accomplis grâce à l’utilisation de ressources locales et de techniques traditionnelles, mais surtout grâce à l’implication inestimable de tous les acteurs du projet. 💙 Chacun y a mis du cœur à l’ouvrage : des bénévoles venus d’ailleurs, des artisans locaux, et nos précieux amis. Dans les moments de joie comme dans les épreuves, ce chantier est devenu le symbole de notre unité, c’est pourquoi cette demeure possède aujourd’hui une âme, empreinte de solidarité. 🚧 Dès octobre 2016, les travaux sont lancés par Benjamin en compagnie de Mathieu volontaires pendant les 6 premiers mois. Ils deviendront amis et fidèles compagnons de la restauration de la maison. ⛅️ La première étape de la restauration a été centrée sur le retrait des parties des murs en mauvais état pour les reconstituer sainement. Cela a été un moment fort humainement et fédérateur autour du projet. ✈️ Mais ensemble ils ne se sont pas arrêtés là… Matthieu a accompagné Benjamin sur les premiers mois, permettant au projet d’aller plus loin dans ses ambitions. Une chance littéralement tombée du ciel, car Benjamin et Matthieu se sont rencontrés à l’aéroport de Fès… 🫶 Finalement Matthieu a accompagné cette restauration jusqu’en 2023, et a invité ses amis à rejoindre l’aventure : Papi, Ju et d’autres ont rejoint l’aventure de la Maison Solidaire et ont apporté toutes leurs compétences pour contribuer bénévolement à la réalisation du chantier. 🧡 Un immense merci à eux pour leur générosité et leur engagement sans faille dans la réalisation de ce projet qui dépasse les simples murs d’une maison, mais qui construit des ponts entre les cœurs et les esprits. 🚧 في أكتوبر 2016، بدأ العمل بصحبة المتطوع بنجامين لمدة 6 أشهر بصحبة المتطوع ماتيو. سيصبحان صديقين ورفيقين مخلصين في ترميم المنزل. ⛅️ ركزت المرحلة الأولى من الترميم على إزالة أجزاء الجدران التي كانت في حالة سيئة من أجل إعادة بنائها بشكل سليم. كانت لحظة إنسانية وموحّدة للمشروع. ✈️ لكنهما لم يتوقفا معاً عند هذا الحد... فقد رافق ماتيو بنيامين خلال الأشهر القليلة الأولى، مما مكن المشروع من المضي قدماً في طموحاته إلى أبعد من ذلك. فرصة سقطت حرفياً من السماء، لأن بنجامين وماتيو التقيا في مطار فاس... في نهاية المطاف رافق ماتيو عملية الترميم هذه حتى عام 2023، ودعا أصدقاءه للانضمام إلى المغامرة: انضم بابي وجو وآخرون إلى مغامرة Maison Solidaire وجلبوا كل مهاراتهم للمساهمة طواعية في استكمال موقع العمل. 🧡 شكراً جزيلاً لهم على كرمهم والتزامهم الثابت بهذا المشروع الذي يتجاوز جدران المنزل البسيطة إلى بناء جسور بين القلوب والعقول. #artlove #meetartists #morocco #fes #FezMedina #LesFassinants #DarTadamoun #MaisonSolidaire #cocreation #ArtPeace #ArtAssociation #crossculture

🫱🏼🫲🏾 🌱 Au fil de ces rencontres et de ces actions artistiques, l’envie se dessine d’avoir un lieu en commun, au sein de la médina, pour pouvoir créer ensemble, et faire s’exprimer tout l’art de Fès. ✨ En 2016, Benjamin de l’association LesFassinants et Nourdinne (le 3ème homme en partant de la gauche) échangent pour trouver un accord ensemble autour d’un Dar qui appartient à la famille de Nourdinne. 📑Ils signent ensemble une Convention d’Habitation Solidaire. Happy Museum Monday! 🎨 To celebrate the upcoming Motif Day (May 18), we are featuring this ink wash piece by Elmer Rising (1906-1987). You can view it at our Red Paint and Granite exhibit, currently in our Wengenroth Gallery. Elmer Rising was a native of Rockland, Maine, where the ships, lighthouses, and rocky inlets of the area of his youth were the subjects of many of his works. Because of color blindness, he worked in pen and ink, and his sketches were rendered with an awareness of detail and sensitivity that brought life to a lobster pot or deserted farmhouse as well as to the faces of his subjects. This exhibition has been a real record breaker for us with almost 250 artworks on display on the walls, cabinets and browsers.
