Many great wines in this lineup. The 17 Savart Haute Couture (🦄 alert), 19 Heitz Lochardet Monty and the 08 Leroy NSG could easily have stolen the show in any other lineup but the pair of 2009s- Rousseau Chambertin and CLB La Romanee- took centerstage and did not relinquish the limelight. Rousseau was simply majestic. A seamless beauty, breathtakingly attractive with endless length. The best Rousseau I’ve had to date (edging out the 90 Chambertin). The CLB La Rom was silky and ethereal. Surprised at how gentle and lithe it was for the vintage. CLB’s wines are always made in a style that is close to my heart. a very big pleasure to enjoy the speciel wine med with 100% whole cluster. so much personality, very authentic and seductive. The whole cluster give it a great structure and depth. Very classic expression. The wine was made by Patrick Bize who unfortunately is no longer with us. With more than 40 vintages he has a great part in the history of the domaine. 2011 is perhaps somehow a little forgotten in the shadow of 2009,2010 and 2012. Camus Pere & Fils, Charmes-Chambertin, 2014 🇰🇷 철분 가득한 느낌과 함께 쿰쿰한 버섯과 말린 붉은 과실, 가죽, 젖은 낙엽 뉘앙스가 꽤나 많이 난다. 버섯이 특히 강한데 이런저런 버섯들이 번갈아가면서 올라온다. 나이가 꽤 들어서 나오는 간장 뉘앙스가 팔렛의 짠 맛과 합쳐져서 좀 더 도드라진다. 산도는 중간 정도였는데 약간 신듯한 느낌이 있어서 조금 더 있는 것처럼 느껴지긴 했다. 여러모로 이제는 안녕할 때가 된 듯. 2, 3년만 어릴때 만났으면 좋았을 것! 🇺🇸 Accompanied by a strong sense of iron, many musty mushrooms, dried red fruit, leather, and damp leaf nuances exist. The mushroom note is particularly prominent, with various types of mushrooms alternating in prominence. With age, a soy sauce undertone emerges, enhancing the palate‘s salty aspect. The acidity is medium, but there’s a slightly sourness sensation, giving the impression of a bit more presence. In many ways, it seems like it‘s time to bid farewell. 1983 Clair Dau Chambertin Clos de Beze How lucky to be able to taste wines of Clair Dau again! Tasted blind. Somehow it rang a bell being 83 Clair-Dau, but different from the Clos St Jacques. This is deeper, bit riper with noticeable tannins. Still Gevrey in style. Guessed Grand Cru. It is fading but still very lovable with savoury farmyard, dry flowers, sour cherry, ripe red fruits notes.
