I have been an emotional wreck throw this book hands down Brooklyn was my favourite character. Her death done it for me wow and every time Matt mentions her in this book it's still so raw and powerful emotion by God Ivy amazingly done a can't not fault this book or series. 16 years Matt keeps his promises to Brooklyn of not moving on and finding love again cause she was her true love. But I've alway believed you can have more than one soul mate and of course Matt may have a choice to make on his life but he needs happiness not chasing a ghost of course that what a think then just when you think it's going to happy Ivy Smoak you leave us with a massive cliff hanger like a big massive one omg. And a don't want to spoil it for anyone but by god a threw my kindle but a knew it a had this feeling in my bones I am not going to stop being able to think about this untill next book is out. BOOK REVIEW Accelerant by @kendigronie Ok, so just wow, wow, wow, wow, WOW! It’s not often that the second book in a trilogy can live up to the first, and this one not only lives up to book one, but absolutely blows it out of the water* - both literally and figuratively, and every other which way!!! And that’s saying something, because book one was absolutely incredible!!! I just don’t even know where to start, except to say that this is an absolute must-read! The storytelling, the character arcs, the world-building, it’s just all so... there are no words! 😍 You will laugh, you will cry, you will gasp in shock and you will cheer! You will find yourself on the edge of your seat and simultaneously relaxing into an incredibly vibrant world, only to be rudely shocked by the next series of stunning events! 😂. This is just a masterclass in how to write a fantasy series, really. One thing I really have to mention, that I especially love, is the presence of both male and female MCs who are both incredibly strong, but also quite beatable in fights. And who don’t always make good choices either. Nor do they always make bad ones... Nobody’s invincible, nobody’s perfect... and I love it! And, a word of warning - do not, I repeat, DO NOT, under any circumstances, read the final two chapters without a copy of Fierian (Book 3) on hand! Otherwise the shock and suspense may be unbearable! We all know Ronie is the queen of shocking cliffhangers... so I was well prepared for one... or so I thought... she has truly outdone herself with this one, and left us with not just one massive cliffhanger, but four!!! 🙈 Yes, you read that right!! 😂 Four cliffhangers in one book!
