She always knew she felt deeper than others. Because when she poured out her emotions, they were often met with misunderstanding. 🌅🎶 They were often met with comments that she was exaggerating how good a movie was, how lovely a song, how beautiful a destination was. . She wasn’t exaggerating, just loving fiercely – intense love that couldn’t be contained. 💖 Her love blazed with a passion fueled by past wounds, reminding her of life’s fleeting nature. ⏳✨ Witnessing the brevity of life, she knew loss intimately, fueling her to love fiercely. . When you have lost someone, you naturally fear losing others around you. You understand how short life truly is, you are constantly aware that you have very few moments with your loved ones. You see more beauty in beautiful things and feel more love for everyone you love. From 5 to 23 I studied the ballet. My first memorable recital was to Johnathon Livingston’s “Seagull” sung by Neil Diamond. The song is “Be.” This was a pice I’d written in 12/2021. And I knew I would learn to spread my own wings. The Beach Sleep came to me as a dear friend. It washed over my body like warm sunshine and melted away all of my aches and pains. It brought with it cool saltwater to bathe me in a healing broth of minerals and magic. And the sand beneath my feet was like a soft massage. Missing my mum🥲😇 She was a true matriarch, like her mother. Smart, driven, wise, quiet and compartmentalizing. She lived a very extraordinary life and was loved by many around the world. She had quite the green thumb, a garden of orchids, fruit trees, hummingbirds and blue jays. A beloved dog always. A grand example of a grandmother.
