I don't know why I have never written about the day, too many a times my ink inclines towards the night. Day seems to bare open everything, from sunrise when the rays pour and penetrate into secrets that the night always keeps safe. The sky wiped clean like a whiteboard fresh and crisp. Like it has been kept ready for the teacher to start his new lesson. The chores start for early on, like the newspaper boy throws into each house. And the milkman delivers litres of fresh milk door to door. There is something so formal about the whole day atmosphere, that it compels one to join this race we all invented, pretending we have all figured how to reach the finish line. A new lens of hope, a promise is worn with the school uniform and the laptop ready for office is all sombre. Perhaps, the day is more forgiving than night. It gives us another chance to soak in aspirations with a fresh set of eyes. Day doesn't wear weary and defeated eyes, instead it wears a pair of alert, inquisitive eyes. Some days it penetrates so deep, that it feels like it owns your soul. There are so many colours a day dons, that we more often than not, we miss out the hues. Like the sorry on the lips that reached the eyes, trembled too much to leave the lips. Like the concern behind a mother bellowing at her children to finish eating the vegetables on the plate. The day hides its fangs and poisoned tongue behind the chitterings of birds and splashing of the oars while the boat-man sings of his broken heart. Why is it that we fear the night and turn blind to the ruthlessness of day? I wonder. Today, listen intently to your day, unscramble your thought for the day. Bleeding heart plant Bleeding heart vine has attractive, dark green leaves. Even though it is vine or liana, it is also a somewhat bushy climber. The glossy, dark green, oval leaves are 5-7″ long with smooth edges and pointed on the end. [ c a p t i o n ] lately, I've realised that I'm more focused on things that I've rather than the temporary clouds that pass by, lately, I've realised I'm paying more attention to tiny details of people around me, and noticed how beautiful yet saddening the acts of love are, just as they're supposed to be. ultimately I've learned all that matters at the end is the little things that are said or done with Love. lately, I've realised not everyone's going to stay in every hurdle except myself, and I've also realised that it's not like I've to face it all alone, people meet and leave us for a reason and maybe, its meant to be faced with their presence or learnt with their absence.
