I struggle to put into words what I mean because language frees and it is also limiting. It shapes a culture that is hard to break free from. Even as someone who has grown up with many languages, the act of becoming aware of the limitations is like figuring out there is more to the world than a forest, if all you have ever know is the forest. Magical acts help break free from the constraints of language. They help find a new language and new and old ways of perceiving the world. Some professions have magical acts built into them. For example, when I speak with actors and artists, there is a mutual understanding of other languages than the spoken/written word, and how freeing they can be. WHEN DID YOU STOP MOVING FOR JOY AND START MOVING FOR EXERCISE? At some point, for most of us we start to move for exercise, because maybe someone told you you should or you wanted to look a certain way and we lose the pure joy of movement. Our goal is to reignite that joy in movement. We are here to help change the narrative around why we move because some where along the way our culture got it wrong and the media continues to play a big part in this. A child doesn’t move to lose 5, 10, 20kgs or to get a peachy butt or to shrink their waistline and let me tell you, none of these things bring you happiness, sure maybe temporary happiness but not long lasting sustainable happiness. Think of it like this, you don’t go for a surf to get muscley arms but sure that is a byproduct of surfing but the driver is not the muscley arms it’s the joy of surfing and being in the ocean. What would it take to bring back that child like approach to movement, where the driver to move is not based around a physical attainment. Where we move to feel a certain way, we move because it helps us to clear our mind, to feel empowered, to feel calmer… notice no mention of the peachy butt. We will never ask you to weigh yourself or to measure yourself, to be blunt we don’t care about how you look, we do care about how you are though. We also have a responsibility to the next generation to shape the way they look at movement, what language we use around them, being a positive role model and loving and embracing our bodies. Sure this post might come as a surprise to some as we might be perceived as a fitness studio but we are so much more than that. Sure our practises are going to make you stronger and more flexible and maybe even get the peachy butt but our goal is never either of those things. We get the important things right- like how is your emotional and mental state is. An amazing studio I used to work at had the slogan of “get the mind right, the body will follow” and we couldn’t agree more with this! #freethemind Image @rhythm

Shadow Work. Is the most important part of your unique evolution into self. Depending on your own life experiences is how deep shadow work (self healing) goes. Shadow work can be a scary place but there is nothing to fear, past traumatic experiences are build ups of feelings and emotions that we have stored deep within putting up the barriers and bricks walls to protect ourselves from feeling. It is so important along your spiritual journey to sit with your shadow self if you want to initiate your higher self. If we run from our shadows then we will operate from the ego self, thus for creating an unhealthy nervous system, in healthy relations and loose connection with our spirit within. The more your sit with your shadow self and release them feelings and emotions deeply stored within, your nervous system will operate within a much more healthy way, integrating your higher self and start letting go of the ego self. By doing this we also remove the negative data memories stored within our subconscious, freeing itself to be more creative and expanding one’s consciousness development. Where to even start 😓 My journey with the S14 comes to an end tomorrow morning as it goes off to its new owner What a journey it has been and thank you to everyone who has supported me and followed me from the beginning. Although it’s a sad day for me it’s mega to sit back and reminisce on the memories and great times I had with this piece of metal 🤯 3 years of constant battles but funny memories and some truely amazing people along the way. I would not be where I am right now without this car. To say I thought my dream car at 19 and done what I did to it blows my mind! (And many SR20s in the process) For everyone who knows me they know how much this car meant to me and what it meant to just own it but as time moves on it’s the best thing for it. I just do not have the time it needs to get it back in the road. It’s important that we talk about things. I didn’t know this even existed. As soon as I discovered them, I just HAD to. The quality of the products is second to none.
