💥Early PP Pelvic Floor💥 These are the same exact exercises I began around week 2 PP to begin rebuilding that mind-body connection. These seriously made a world of difference for me early on and I hope they help you as well. Comment “deep core” below and I will send you more information! 1️⃣Glute bridge with block 2️⃣Lizard pose with block 3️⃣Pelvic tilt + band pull apart with block 4️⃣Quadruped shoulder tap with block 5️⃣Partial cruch isometric + overhead raise Important considerations: 💫start with breathing! Including the diaphragm helps get your pelvic floor, ribs & abdomen moving well so there’s no unnecessary tightness or stiffness 💫mobility is your friend! Doing some targeted moves for your hips & spine will make you feel much better after hours spent nursing, holding & carrying your little one 💫strength & stability come with time & consistency! Make sure you’re starting with these low level exercises, focusing on good technique & proper muscle engagement as all of this will help you build a good foundation, recover from diastasis recti & assist your body as it returns to prior activities without compensation patterns. Indicators you may be doing too much to soon: 🔺pain 🔺soreness more than 2 days 🔺onset of leakage 🔺increased pressure/heaviness down there Be sure you’re listening to YOUR body. There is no rush. Don’t pressure yourself to try & keep up with others’ recoveries. It’s not uncommon for ladies to take 12-18 months to feel fully back to “normal” so give yourself some grace🙂 Need more guidance??
