Keďže mi diagnostikovali rakovinu prsníka v III. štádiu (ďalej ako RP/mrška), dáva mi to právo ľutovať sa na internetoch a byť generálom po bitke – mudrovať o všetkom, čo som odvtedy zistila. Je čas zhrnúť si oblasti, v ktorých som to pokašľala a vy nemusíte: Neodôvodnená naivita - Že sa ma rakovina netýka som bola presvedčená tak veľmi, ako to, že Fico nikdy nemôže byť prezidentom - tadááá. Skutočnosť je taká, že na RP ochorie každá ôsma žena (viď baba na obrázku vyššie). (Not so) fun fact č.1: RP sa týka všetkých, na Slovensku je diagnostikovaná cca 60-tim mužom ročne. Mladosť pochabosť - Myslela som, že rakovina sa týka starších ľudí. O to viac ma prekvapilo, keď som mala v 40tke mínus jeden prsník. (Not so) fun fact č. 2: Za posledných 20 rokov sa zvýšil počet pacientiek diagnostikovaných v nižšom veku. Žiadne samovyšetrenia prsníkov - Akosi som sa spoliehala, že to, že mám parádne didky je samozrejmosť a nemusím sa o ne nijako starať. V skutočnosti je samovyšetrenie #gamechanger a môže ti doslova zachrániť riť (niekedy aj didky), lebo včasné zistenie ochorenia zvyšuje šancu na úspešnosť liečby. Mantra zdravých pŕs znie: absolvovať preventívky + sono/mamo (po 40-tke), robiť si samovyšetrenia každý mesiac (pohmatom + pohľadom), prsia si porovnávať a dávať bacha, či na nich nie sú zmeny, ak áno – utekaj k lekárovi. Žiadne znalosti príznakov rakoviny prsníka - Bez zjavnej príčiny som predpokladala, že sa ochorenie prejavuje hrčkou hlboko v prsníku, čo znamenalo, že som nevenovala pozornosť prvým príznakom, ktoré sa (u mňa) prejavili zmenami na pokožke (strie na prsníku som mala vytlačené smerom von). Najčastejšie prejavy RP sú: 1. Tvrdá hrčka 2. Stuhnuté (stvrdnuté) miesto 3. Jamka (priehlbinka) 4. Chrasty na bradavke 5. Začervenanie/pálenie (opuch, bolestivosť) 6. Vriedky/rana na koži 7. Nezvyčajná tekutina/výtok 8. Hrčka 9. Rastúca (zvýraznená) žila 10. Vtiahnutá bradavka 11. Zmena tvaru alebo veľkosti 12.Pokožka vzhľadu “pomarančovej kôry” Takže!
