Here is another national park illustration in my NP project I’ve been working on. This is White Sands National Park. It’s a newer park I’ve never been here yet, but I do love sand dunes! They are so unique, beautiful, and fun! There were some sand dunes close to where I went to college (St. Anthony Sand Dunes) and I have so many fond memories of exploring and playing on the dunes. I worked on another national park image when I was on my winter adventure. Mount Rainier National Park! Like the one of Glacier Bay, this image also has a mosaic of colors! But instead of a colorful glacier wall, this is a colorful field of wildflowers. I love how all the little dots, lines, and squiggles of colors come together to create the wildflowers. One of my favorite things about summertime is hiking into an alpine wildflower field. It’s stunning! My personal favorite is the Indian paintbrush.
