The all you can eat breakfast selections include scrambled eggs, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, Hawaiian-style ham topped with pineapple compote, a variety of fresh fruits, pineapple bread and,of course, Mickey waffles. We celebrated my husband's birthday at 'Ohana back in May during our Disney World trip. We had the 'Ohana dinner feast (all you can eat) and there was definitely a lot of food already in the first serving that we didn't need to ask for seconds. 😁 We both really liked the 'Ohana bread, pork dumplings and chicken wings. I finally understand the hype with the 'Ohana noodles and bread pudding ❤️ those were so good! Unfortunately the beef and chicken were on the dry side. Tip #3 SUCTION PLATES! We use this outside of Disney as well but I wasn’t going to bring them to Disney, thinking it’s another thing to carry and clean and was I really gona use them…YES,YES,YES! I have a ‘Meal bag’ now that I pack before we go into the parks that has these plates, some cutlery, little toys and kids iPads for our sit down meals. They have saved many a mental breakdown from me as well as the kids! The character breakfast 🍳🥞 at Ohana is EVERYTHING 🤩🫶🏻!!! We didn’t even have this planned, but had so many people message us that it was a “must do,” that we asked the concierge if they could get us in last night. Another reason to stay at Club Level is they can pull alllll the strings. We had a table overlooking the pool that was MAGICAL, the food was a show stopper in and of itself, and meeting the characters was the highlight of the day FO’ SHO! Do not miss this magical moment with your family when you come to Disney! ⭐️ TIP: We didn’t know to bring a character signing book, so we sent one of the kids in between character visits to grab one with their magic bands, and our server Katie made sure to have Mickey and Lilo come back to our table a second time just to sign our book. Our last day at Disney World! We started veeeery early at Ohana at the Disney Polynesian Village Resort for breakfast. This was awesome! It’s all you can eat family style so the portions were huge and they had these delicious cinnamon donuts, Beyond sausage, potatoes, plant-based eggs, and Mickey and Stitch waffles! It was all delicious but I especially loved those donuts🤤 AND I got to meet Stitch! We headed to Disney Hollywood Studios for our last day and there were a couple things I was in the lookout to try. First, after walking around a bit, I got the plant-based grilled cheese from Woody’s Lunch Box and it was really good! Nothing fancy, just good! Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is INCREDIBLE. I’m a Star Wars fan and the entire immersive experience was out of this world! I visited Oga’s Cantina and got the Outer Rim (a tequila-based cocktail—tasty and also very sweet so the salt rim was appreciated) and also a non-alcoholic drink in a souvenir porg glass🥹 After cocktails I tried the blue milk and I…did not like it😅 It was weirdly fruity/bubblegum flavored. After piloting the Millennium Falcon I headed to Sunset Boulevard and I got the plant-based ‘lobster’ roll from Rosie’s All-American Cafe. I really liked this; it was hearts of palm and I love hearts of palm🫶 Overall I’m super impressed with the vegan options at Disney! Again, I can’t say thank you enough to @vegandisneyworld for sharing quick options and dining experiences at every park and at lots of the reports (if not all of them?). The character breakfast 🍳🥞 at Ohana is EVERYTHING 🤩🫶🏻!!! We didn’t even have this planned, but had so many people message us that it was a “must do,” that we asked the concierge if they could get us in last night. Another reason to stay at Club Level is they can pull alllll the strings. We had a table overlooking the pool that was MAGICAL, the food was a show stopper in and of itself, and meeting the characters was the highlight of the day FO’ SHO! Do not miss this magical moment with your family when you come to Disney! ⭐️ TIP: We didn’t know to bring a character signing book, so we sent one of the kids in between character visits to grab one with their magic bands, and our server Katie made sure to have Mickey and Lilo come back to our table a second time just to sign our book. 📍’Ohana - Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort - Walt Disney World Resort - 1600 Seven Seas Dr - Orlando, FL ‘Ohana is a Polynesian-themed restaurant located inside Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World. It opened in April 1995, but the resort itself has been open since 1971. The name ‘Ohana is a Native Hawaiian word that means “family”; those familiar with the 2002 Disney film “Lilo & Stitch” will know this already. In addition to their delicious Polynesian-inspired dishes, ‘Ohana is also known for its decor and live entertainment. It is also a popular Disney character dining eatery, but character dining is currently suspended there until September 2022. My family and I visited ‘Ohana while we were on an East Coast Road Trip. Good friends of ours were staying in an adjoining room at Disney World with us, and they joined us for this dining experience. All of the dishes are served family-style. First up were some Mixed Greens with Citrus Vinaigrette along with the Signature ‘Ohana Bread with Honey Butter. The children in our party were served a selection of Chicken Nuggets, French Fries and Macaroni & Cheese. The next platter that came for the adults featured Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings, Pork Dumplings tossed in Garlic-Chili Sauce, Roasted Broccolini and ‘Ohana Noodles. To drink, my wife and I both shared the “Lapu Lapu” (Plantation Original Dark Rum and Tropical Fruit Juices served in a fresh Pineapple). Not only was it delicious but it looked awesome! Other dishes served to us included Grilled Chicken with Polynesian-inspired Chimichurri Sauce, Wood-fire Grilled Teriyaki Beef, and Spicy Peel-n-Eat Shrimp. Everything was delicious! We were even serenaded by a live musician playing Ukulele covers of Disney songs. We finished the evening with dessert plates featuring ‘Ohana Bread Pudding (À la mode with Homemade Caramel Sauce) and Rice Krispie treats for the kids. We all had a great time at ‘Ohana! 🌺🌴🍹🍍🌋
OHANA. AT THE POLYNESIAN RESORT. DISNEY. Después de ir dos veces a tomar desayuno y una a cenar, creo que le puedo hacer una review justa a Ohana. Ubicado en uno de los resorts más lindos que conozco en Disney (si no el más lindo). El lugar hermoso. La música es genial. La atención también impeque, pero Vamos a lo central, La comida. La modalidad es bastante especial. Por un precio fijo te traen un monton de cosas y puedes seguir pidiendo por el resto de la eternidad. 🐷 El desayuno no es tan caro. 25 dólares por persona. Te traen salchichas, papas, huevos revueltos, waffles con forma de Mickey, jugo, y un pan muy rico, hawaiano, con sabor a piña. Lo mejor? Las papas y el pan. La verdad por el precio está bien. Pero ojo. Es harta comida !! 🐷 Con respecto a la cena, Pucha la comida rica, (maravillosa??? No) pero rica. Te traen pollo, carne, ensalada, noodles, camarones y dumplings. El problema? Es demasiada demasiada comida. Terminas botando gran parte. Y el precio. 55 dólares por persona (cuando en verdad podrías haber gastado y botado la mitad). Lo mejor de la cena? También el pan. Exquisito. 🐷 Siempre los cocktail se pagan aparte y valen aprox 15 dólares cada uno. He probado el que viene en una piña, la piña colada y el watermelon margarita. Todo muy rico. 🍸🍹 Mi consejo es: si va a ir, que sea con mucha hambre, ojalá hartas personas, incluyendo varios hombres grandes y buenos para comer jajajaja. Nosotras 3 simples niñitas (pero buenas pal diente) hemos botado mucha comida y nos ha dolido bastante (aparte que te vas con la comida hasta el cuello para no botar tanto). #TastyTuesday: Ohana Review! Ok so I admit, I did not realize going to this dinner how it is served. For those who don't know, it is a set menu where everything is brought out to you and you get to try all of it, and you have the option to order more if you want to - but you really won't need to because they bring out plenty of each food item. Oh. My. God. Every single thing was *chef's kiss* perfection. It started with a salad and a citrus vinaigrette dressing. I love just about any kind of vinaigrette so this really couldn't go wrong. They also brought out their signature bread with honey butter at this time. The bread was delicious. I am not a big fan of honey so I didn't *love* the butter, but dang it, I will still spread it on bread. The next item they brought out was a skillet with Ohana noodles, broccolini, honey-coriander chicken wings, and pork dumplings. All of it was delicious but the noodles and dumplings in particular were incredible. I could have eaten the noodles all day. Next was a skillet of peel and eat shrimp, grilled teriyaki beef, and grilled chicken. The beef and chicken were amazing. The beef was nice and tender and the chicken had a tasty chimichurri sauce that really stood out. The shrimp was good but I don't love having to peel shrimp in general 😅. Finally, we have to talk about the bread pudding. Y'all. This was a game changer. I don't even really like pineapple but this is an exception. Nothing is better than a warm dessert like this with a glob of vanilla ice cream on top of it. This is one of my new favorite sweets at Disney for sure. Everything about this dinner was worth the price. The food was some of the best we've had at Disney and our server was great. After this we did our first monorail hop so we will share more on that later.
