My late Grandmother bought me these gorgeous terracotta pots from Crocus about 8 years ago and my mother was convinced they would topple over and smash at the first breath of wind 🙄 But they didn't! And I love them more as they age and the garden grows up around them. It's worth thinking outside the box with pot placement - these ones are positioned within a border, which gives a pop of height and colour year round and the pots provide a nice solid surface to bounce light off in the evenings too. You can also remove the bottom of large pots and plant them in the border to create mini raised beds for a similar effect. • Quiet corner • 💚whine I was staying with Mum @akscorry in Cape Town recently she asked me how she could brighten up a dark corner with a stained wall, old wires and stuff dumped there. We found this great log from nursery Dr Boomslang and these great guys got it into her car.
