Restricting yourself 6/7 days of the week, waiting for something all week then blowing out on one meal or a full day. It’s pretty depressing,very unhealthy & unsustainable! It will also damage your relationship with food. In my experience and opinion a more balanced approach is better overall for both mindset and maintaining any results. - Cutting out foods you love! Something I hear within the fitness industry all the time! Cutting out certain food groups - particularly carbohydrates! Who wants to live a life being unhappy and not having a carbohydrate 🥯 🍌 🥦 🍕 Carbohydrates are essential to have and our bodies use them as a source of energy!! So.. If you enjoy carbs - why cut them out? If you enjoy meats - why cut it out? If you enjoy chocolate - why cut it out? Unless you have an intolerance you do not need to cut any food or any food group for that matter! The best lifestyle change is one you can stick too, with no restrictions to what you can and can’t have! find the balance and have everything you want and enjoy in moderation! Working on your environment not the opportunity is the easiest and fastest way to actual results instead of regret. So what do I mean by that? For years people have been jumping on every single new opportunity out there to improve their health, career, finances, relationships etc. Here’s the secret that people know but ignore… Any idiot can plant a seed but it takes a certain level of competence, patience, nurturing and surroundings to make it grow. Over the years (especially in the self help space) I’ve observed millions of people float from one thing to the next, planting seed after seed and never committing to anything. As much as it saddens me, if you’re one of these people then here’s the harsh truth… You deserve to be where you are right now! Feeling like you’re going nowhere, watching everyone else getting results and you in the same place you have been for the last 5 years and beyond! You deserve every single bit of it! Please understand something, when bodies are buried in the ground it’s so the body can decompose and return to the Earth. When a seed is planted it’s so it can shoot up bigger & better than when it went into the soil! The key however is to provide it with the right nutrients.
