Last Jan (2023) we went to the Hoop De Doo Revue for the first time. It was a blast and we can’t wait to go back!! We had floor seats and my kids got chosen to be apart of the show. Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is located on the second floor of the Japan Pavilion, which offers stunning views overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon. This table service restaurant offers delicious dining options from sushi to savory dishes of Japanese cuisine! Recently, I finally got to try Maya Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Mexican cuisine has never been my favorite, but it’s been growing on me a lot over the last couple years! On this particular night, our table enjoyed guacamole and queso dip (not pictured). Both were delicious. Everyone particularly loved the queso, but I am a guacamole girl! For my drink, I tried the strawberry jalapeño margarita, and it was actually fantastic! Just a bit of a kick along with the fruit & tequila flavor, which I love in a margarita. For my entree, I got the chicken quesadilla. It was SO good. This also may be because I have not had a quesadilla since before I went gluten free. 3 of us actually got the quesadilla, but one of my friends ordered the enchiladas, which he said were quite good as well! Overall this was a great experience and I look forward to returning. Our only complaint was that although it did not seem super crowded, the service was quite slow. 🕑🏰✨ A most magical evening... A few days ago, we had the honor to experience Cinderella's Royal Table, one of the most exclusive dining experiences at WDW! It includes a three course meal, a meet and greet with Cinderella, and four princesses who visit your table (we got Jasmine, Merida, Ariel, and Aurora)! Conner's thoughts: It was an amazing experience, the scenery and detail of the interior of the castle was exceptional. The food was great! You WILL feel full by dessert which is usually the biggest concern with smaller portions that CRT is known for. The princesses gave it their all and truly gave us the best possible experience. 9.5/10 aside from the price point and some other minor food related issues. Austin's thoughts: While a little on the pricey side, this royal experience is definitely something truly remarkable. The interactions with all five princesses felt so personalized and special, and the theming really makes you feel as if you were invited to a royal banquet (because you are, of course). The food was very high quality and exceeded my expectations from what I had heard, the flavors were refined and delicious. This restaurant is open for dinner only and is a family style dining experience with rolls, salad, broccolini, mixed veggies, a jasmine rice with beans, and a variety of meats including a chicken, beef, pork, and fish option. Disney dining - Epcot - Takumi-Tei - Located in the Japan pavilion - this is a fine dining experience - a 7-course prix fixe Japanese dinner… and the price tag to go along with it. But the food was very exceptional … the atmosphere is unique, creative, inviting… and the service was impressive and just outstanding . Our waitress ended the service with an origami with a personal, handwritten note - very sweet and very thoughtful. My general take: This is an awesome dining experience.
