I'm not too sure what I was waiting for.. But suddenly I saw the Special French Jasmine Soap, In delicate silver tissue paper... Tucked away in a cupboard. I probably had one of my top 5 strongest weeks ever of training. I did not settle, I did not let the distractions or fear in my life detour me from what I know I'm capable of. Quality is the name of my game, and the easy stuff is done on the bike. This week I had a huge double, speed right into a 5k PB, a really strong long that felt to easy, and decided to top the week off with a trip to the track for my first real opportunity to open up since December. I didn't have better than 34s in me today, but I had to respect the fact that my body had a huge week. Legs never felt weak or heavy, but that's all they had. I need more track work! My goal as a human & coach is to always lead by example. Anyone can be strong & show up when everything's going great as planned and you are on top of your game. A real champion can get knocked out, stepped on, spit on, have the rug pulled out from under them and they will still find a way to make it happen, focus on solutions, and still smile and wave and encourage others. The only person that can stop me, is me. No weapon formed against me will prosper. 2023 was the year that I: • Found the love of my life @cheskamoore • Went full time as a producer and had it as my only income • Travelled more than I’ve ever done • Moved to another country • Learned the word “thundercunt” • Attended more camps than ever • Hit over a million streams • Went from the deepest and darkest places of my mind to places filled with gratitude and excitement • Said “let it/them” to a lot of people and situations. • Found myself with new goals • Met a ton of amazing people that have made this year all worth it • Took chances that paid off.
