I think one of the hardest things about motherhood that rarely gets talked about is that as you're going day to day taking care of your baby that brings you so much joy and purpose, you can't help but to feel unrecognizable to yourself. . I've been feeling this rather deeply lately. I knew coming into motherhood would change things, and I definitely knew it would change me. What I did not know was that I would feel like a total stranger to myself. This cocoon I have emerged from has made my reality completely different and new, and I'm struggling to figure out just who exactly I am in this new realm. .
