My Many moods in Utrecht, Netherlands. Considering my zero plan vacay, I woke up in Düsseldorf deciding to go back with my cousin to Utrecht for two nights. A simple 2.5hrs journey became a painful 6hrs journey thanks to the Deutchbahn. Leo could open a tin of beans with his left foot 🪄 his technique is unreal. I fired footballs at him from different angles for him to receive, turn and finish. We worked on the wee swivle of the hips and a burst of pace. I told Leo to tell his dad we were doing the Michael Mols turn 💙❤️😄 Next up was Emmett for his first session and I was really inpressed. The wee fella is in our Tuesday class and everyone can see the improvement in Emmett, he's getting better by the week. We worked on a lot of basics yesterday, first touch and movement, dribbling at pace and the wee dude was just great 👍 Well done troops 🙏

☀️S A T U R D A Y B R E A K F A S T☀️ •cinnamon banana swirls (recipe below) •scrambled egg with dill •strawberries, raspberries & blueberries On Saturday mornings, we like to have cinnamon rolls, and I kept feeling bad that Harley and Kodi were left out, so made them some cinnamon banana swirls, which they absolutely loved! I also offered them to Isabel in place of a normal cinnamon roll and even she devoured them 🤯 To make the ‘frosting’ I just mixed some cream cheese with a drizzle of maple syrup until smooth and then spread over the rolls just before serving! 🧁 🍌🤎 Cinnamon Banana Swirls 🤎🍌 •Ingredients• 2 bananas 1tsp cinnamon 1 sheet puff pastry 1 egg •Method• 1. Preheat oven to 180C (fan) and line a baking tray with parchment paper 2. Mash bananas until smooth and spread into puff pastry 3. Sprinkle cinnamon over mashed banana and roll puff pastry into a long log 4. Using a sharp knife, slice through puff pastry log into approximately 1 inch rolls 5. Place onto prepared baking tray, and use a pastry brush to brush over whisked egg 6. I found a useful article on @additudemag that talks about burnout in women. I'm currently feeling a tad burnout so I know I need to ensure I am taking care of myself. My first step is recognising I am burnout & not beating myself up about it, I know this happens to me as I take on too much & don't give time to myself to recharge. So I am trying to make more of an effort to recharge, listen to my body & mind. I think having kids makes it harder for some women as I don't know about you but I get mum guilt. The guilt of taking time for myself when I feel I should be giving that energy to them. But, how can I give when I have nothing to give & what I am giving is pretty shit as I don't have the brain capacity.
