3 luty 2013 🇨🇦 Totalnie zapomniałam o mojej szalonej rocznicy 🤣 Zaczęło się niewinnie od spontanicznej decyzji o wyjeździe do Kanady, a skończyło się na obywatelstwie. I chyba niezmiennie będę powtarzać, że ciężko nazywać Kanadę moim domem, ale na pewno jest to miejsce, w którym wiele się nauczyłam. Dzięki temu odkryłam miłość swojego życia 🏔⛰️🗻 Jest to najlepsze co przytrafiło mi się w tym kraju. Odkrywanie pasji jest piękną sprawą. Yates Mountain, Dec 4, 2023 90% of the trail was covered in snow/ice so would recommend cleats, there were also a few short bare parts which were bit annoying to have cleats on but too short to be bothered taking them off ha. First part feels bit endless as if you were veering off the mountain too much (like on Yamnuska trail if done counter-clockwise) but it was still cute. Really liked the trail, didn't do the loop as had to go back to Calgary - next time. Barrier Lake was frozen and many peeps were skating on it. Life will be harder than you can prepare for and even more amazing than you could have imagined. Boy have the seasons changed this year and I am holding on tight to this green pasture 🙌 There’s no way I would have ever thought I’d travel solo to foreign countries, hike mountains, or be brave enough to strike up friendships with strangers. The sadness, stress, and tears of 2021/2022 have turned to praise, joy, and laughter in 2023. You can’t speed up grief, depression, or whatever type of wilderness you’re going through, but you will get through it. We can’t guarantee tomorrow, so what joy and gratitude can you find in today? If you focus on that, next thing you know you’ll be looking around amazed by all the blessings in front of you.
