look at this cute puppy face!! this is binkles! binkles has been at the shelter for far too long. 345 days and counting. and that is a lot of mental stress. but you know what? that hasn’t deterred him from becoming everyones best friend! binkles has never met a stranger. but his heart, soul, and entire body just wants to be able to find his true person who can provide him with ample love, support, peace and quiet…and maybe a toy or two :) binkles had a rough start, like many dogs, but started to wear his stress on his ears and heart. he needs time to decompress and heal, something he isn’t able to do at the shelter. and now, he’s been given a time limit. he’s a confident explorer, and is a constant reminder to slow down and be present. you know, enjoy the little things in life. he loves his field trips his volunteer friends take him on, and has displayed well manners when he’s out. this goofy goober is a smart boy! he’s treat motivated, and will be happy to show you all the tricks up his sleeve, and even learn new ones! while binkles doesn’t know a stranger, he would do better in a home without little kids because this excited boy doesn’t know his own strength. ideally, he would find his forever home where he can be the only dog (at least for now), but even if that doesn’t happen right away, he would love the opportunity to be a long-term guest where he can recuperate and continue to search for his forever home. you can read more about binkles on @all.the.good.dogs page! she just posted about him and has some really awesome photos. you can also reach out to the awesome people from the @orangedotcrew for more information. and if you decide you have the space to bring this guy home, they’ll be there for you and him during (and beyond) the transition. wouldn’t you want to wake up to a forever puppy face?? can you save this boy? go meet binkles at @austinanimalcenter ID: A882602
