Did you know that just in the U.S., about 6.5 million animals go into animal shelters? Roughly half of them are cats and half of them are dogs!!!!!! In 2023, Save Rocky pulled 118 dogs into our rescue from shelters, plus an additional 19 puppies born to pregnant mommas from the shelter. This does not include the many, many, many shelter dogs we were asked to help, or tried to help that were in shelters. So far in 2024, we have taken 44 shelter dogs into our rescue.
