She’s the only brown tabby with a white bridge of her nose. 😻 What makes her special: Aria is probably the most adventurous of all the kittens. She has been the first or second to try to shoot out the kitten room door most times we open it. She was not scared when she met Bongo and Claire. She’s very often on the move, she’s very engaged with her siblings. When I was taking their pictures this weekend for their weekly “birthday” post, she did not want to sit pretty, she wanted to be running around with the others! 🌧 What better way to spend a rainy day like this than curled up with a furry friend! 🩶 Moose was brought to us as a stray. The poor guy was covered in scabs from fleas and ear mites, but we've since treated him (and neutered him!), and he's healing up great. Now that he's become comfortable with us, he's shown that he is actually the biggest lovebug! He'll crawl into your lap, rub his head against your face, and ask to be held. He doesn't seem to mind the other cats (we're not sure on his history, if any, with dogs), but he should not live with another male cat that has a dominant personality or that would see Moose as a threat and try to be the "alpha." He's a lover, not a fighter! Adopt A Shelter Pet Month ❤️ Here’s another rescue story from our dog groomer Hannah who has rescued lots of different animals. Duke the pony was rescued by Hannah from the WSPCA in 2016 and has kept her on her toes ever since! What he lacks in size he makes up for in personality. He’s full of mischief and is a bit of an escape artist! On several occasions he’s walked into the house, knocked down bird feeders looking for snacks and pulled clothes off of the clothesline. He’s a funny character and Hannah is always wondering what he’ll get up to next. 😅 During lockdown Duke and Hannah would often be seen walking down the lanes and on the beach. People would see this little fellow trotting by her side from a distance and wonder if it was a small pony or a large dog. 😅 Duke is a master at making people smile and has been a great addition to Hannah’s family.
