As long as you continue to move forward along your path towards your greatest joy and fulfillment let me tell you that it does get better and before you know it, you’ll have arrived! ☺️ You’ll feel it in your energy. You’ll experience an inner peace, an inner joy, and inner contentment that doesn’t come from anything outside of you. It’s actually radiating from within you. 🌟 It’s not dependent on where you live, where you work, who you hang around with, or how much of a spiritual person you believe you are. It’s simply an embodiment. It’s who you now are. It’s not a label, not a matter of what you wear, what music you listen to, what tribe you most resonate with, or anything else you do or associate with. It’s really simple actually. It’s so simple most people miss it and get lost in trying to find it. It’s letting go of what’s not true and aligning yourself to what your true nature is. I’m embracing this body of 33 years of age. I’m noticing the subtle changes. Feeling more womanly than ever. I enhance the beauty with dying my hair and tattooing of the eyebrows. I’m also taking my diet into a lot more consideration these days. I’m becoming aware of who I am and this body’s existence. Awareness Wednesday! Joe Dispenza explains the beginning stage of the awakening process so well. When we begin the awakened process, it means we’ve come up against some aspect of our lives and ourselves that’s no longer working for us. For some who come to this work, it can be a crisis, a dire diagnosis, sometimes the end of a relationship, or a financial hardship. For others, it may be a general sense of dissatisfaction, unease, or emptiness one feels. 🕯I reflect back to you the energy of your words so you may recognise the shifts that are occurring on a subconscious level that you may not even be aware of🕯 At the end of a client session recently these words were shared by my client - as above. Why am I speaking to this simple statement? Because ~ as we journeyed the hour together ~ there was a marked difference in where we began and where we closed. This statement, a real bringing into the present ~ that inner energy shift. Learning to protect your energy 🤍⁣ ⁣ This mini trip I took was more of a work trip but learning to shut off from social media during the day and having some time to let my mind be… was truly needed.⁣ ⁣ I created the mindset to let me not think about other things or feeling the constant need to be doing to do “things.” ⁣ ⁣ Being busy does not always mean being productive. I still need to learn to time manage better to help save energy so I am more successful in my days.⁣ ⁣ I also do my best to take in others advice but to know where to use it. I feel I know myself best and knowing how to source for yourself is very important.⁣ ⁣ I know where to push my limits it’s come with time and listening to how I feel. There are days I might not look fully there but I know what needs to get done so sometimes we need to push a little more to get that rest needed. ⁣ ⁣ Learn to pocket an hour into your day to just rejuvenate yourself and unwind. I love going to a sauna or sitting outside in the sun eating a yummy lunch. ⁣ ⁣ Remember it takes time to learn this habit but when you protect your energy from the outside world and learn to source within you’ll be a lot happier. 😊🌞 ⁣ ⁣

Few days ago I turned 41!🎉 There was a sort of "preparation" during the week before my birthday. Like walking in a dark tunnel, towards the unknown... Day by day the promise of light began to sparkle.✨ Connected to the spiritual dimension of the Divine Lotus, many Light Beings came to support me and guide me on this process of rebirth.💖 They brought me into dimensions of the past where I could release painful experiences, convert them into peace, knowledge, awareness, compassion and love. We come from a culture that separates light and darkness, good and bad... Separation is the cause of conflicts, of suffering. Yesterday with Jillian Lavender and Moshe Bar opened up an enlightening conversation around meditation and mindwandering. Some key takeways I took: - There can be a dillution of knowledge. So it's important to seek and search for those who are able to cut through the plethora of information and present consider and helpful information. - Allowing mindwandering to naturally happen is part of how we function. Which can result in two states: Exploitatory - wanting to maximise security and safety. Exploratatory - taking risks and being daring. - Adaptability is a key challenge for us to step into the unknown and is very difficult when we are stressed and tired. The chemistry between the two practices helped to open up the broad topic of what it means to be mindful. W H O I P R A C T I C E Y O G A F O R In a world where “doing my part” is the latest catchphrase ~ designed to gaslight the majority into fearfulness and essentially prey on vulnerabilities, unhealed and unprocessed traumas to achieve a particular outcome ~There feels, to me, that there has never been a time (not in my lifetime) where engaging in practices that bring about self awareness, elicit bodily responses that help release and let go of held tensions and traumas, within safe spaces has been needed. When we are self aware and connected, we are able to make decisions from a nervous system that isn’t stressed, on alert ~ in fight, flight or fawn. When we make decisions from a parasympathetic nervous system ~ we aren’t making them as a consequence of felt fear or threat but from a space of calm, space and truth. I practice yoga, meditation, mindfulness, movement ~ not for the collective but so as I, as my own individual self, can be in and approach life from an inner world that knows itself, honours itself and consequently in external interactions can share and hold space with others with firm boundaries in place, that aren’t wavered on ~ don’t accept nor participate in projection or expend my valuable life force energy into situations or interactions that aren’t adding to my life or those I interact with. I’ve felt called to write this post for a couple of reasons, so here goes. Firstly, thank you to the hundreds of you who have reached out since I opened my space and offerings in February this year, shared your story’s, your fears, your losses, your joys and been open to moving beyond where you are currently in life and doing the work that it takes, in working with me, emotionally, physically and spiritually, for felt shifts to occur and consequently whole of life changes taking place. My offerings as am I are unique, we don’t fit in a nicely wrapped box that unfolds as you may be used to or expect ~ I work in collaboration with spirit and/or ancestors, their energies and share what, at times “needs” to be shared (from spirit and ancestors perspective) in the moment in time we are sitting in session. There are times when what I share may not resonate, seem irrelevant or may see you questioning the experience, but in time, sitting with or in the planting of the seed, what I have shared from spirit and/or ancestors may be key in you making change moving forward, change that can only be made by you, when you are ready in collaboration with therapists, body workers or whoever it is you feel called to involve in your life journey. I encourage all who are thinking about engaging with me to firstly, feel into what it is you’re seeking or what it is about my offerings that calls to you ~ reach out for a free 30min zoom call to see if we connect and then further, sit with what it is you’re looking to resolve or shift and then ~ this is one of the most difficult parts of not only doing inner work but being human ~ be open, without expectation. We can help seek with unconscious or even conscious expectations on mostly the helper and what they can offer us without firstly being aware of our own capacity and openness to make change and begin the journey of looking within and starting to unravel, safely, where and what it is we’re needing to work on and from. I’ve just washed it that’s all’ (have literally stepped out of the hairdressers an hour before) ‘Oh this top? It’s nothing special, I’ve had it for years.’ (Just bought it and it cost a fortune) ‘Don’t be silly!’ Etc etc etc How well you receive a compliment is an excellent way to tell what shape your self-esteem is in. Everything outside, I can't control. Everything inside, I can. It is the latter that belongs to me, not the former. It’s not you it’s your programming! Becoming aware of our attachment styles is so important if we find ourselves repeating patterns of emotionally unavailable or abusive relationships or even on the flip side of that, attracting people that feel smothering and restrictive... Our attachment styles are based around our childhood experiences and attachment experiences with our caregivers that form a template for our future relationships. 💜 Anxious avoidance attachment styles can indicate that a person has very low self esteem and becomes codependent on the other party in the relationship to define them. If they feel unsafe and insecure in the relationship they can become clingy and or will act out in jealousy or play games to hang onto the bond but is really breaking it. 💜 Secure attachment styles are able to easily have a balanced relationship because they have a relatively good amount of self esteem and are not reliant on the relationship for validation. 💜 Dismissive avoidants are so afraid of being hurt that they will continually push anybody away and damage any relationships formed. 💜 Fearful Avoidants will bounce between feeling fearful of being close to anybody but at the same time not being close to someone, this in turn can cause very up and down behaviour and mood swings. Naturally, an anxious attachment style will be drawn to an avoidant because they validate their feelings of inadequacy Avoidants will be magnetised to anxious type attachments so they constantly have somebody else after them even if they put in little effort. As a result of this either party becomes codependent on the other but still won’t be getting their needs met and it most likely becomes toxic especially if they are both unconscious to the reasons behind their behaviours. It’s best to be completely transparent with yourself when it comes to this! Without judgement, become the witness of your current patterns and behaviours... Only when you become conscious of your reactions and behaviours can you change. That been said, we are here to become aware of our own Unconsciousness (whichever lies beyond our own consciousness, awareness). . It starts with being aware of our own Mind, Body, Spirit, behaviour, triggers, emotions, thoughts and reasons lie beneath this. . And it is a continuous journey of awareness. Because from awareness only we can reach to our own true self, our true nature, true identity. And from there we can live our life beyond sufferings and pain (having pain and sufferings but not being identified or attached with it).

7 or 8 years ago, I went along to @yogaground_auckland. It’d been a while since I’d practised. I was happy to have found a studio so close to my home at the time. This vast painting hung in the stairwell. I remember wondering if it came from another image, if it was an actual person. I took classes. I adored dynamic movement and poses. I wanted ‘harder’ classes to rinse me of all my negative, pent up frustration, depression, anger? I focused on pushing my body. Feeling ‘better’ if it had been a tiring physical session. My medicine. Physical exertion brought (temporary) peace. I was lucky enough to be guided by Susan and also @vincentbolletta. I couldn’t always resonate with Vincent’s guidance. I struggled to wring out my physical energy the way I wanted to. I wondered ‘is the painting outside him?’ Eventually Yoga Ground Grey Lynn passed to new hands, I had kids and moved suburbs. I came back to Yoga ground through taking my 200hr yoga training with @ashram_yoga there. And I’ve recently enjoyed some classes there post lockdown, because I wanted to step out of my domestic space for practise. I see the painting. Levitating in air. I understand how I’ve moved beyond the need to primarily expel through my body, in order to avoid my mind. How much my practise has changed, to be kind, curious, to find the balance of mind and body, energy spirit. How straining towards physicalcalstrength and perfect form wasn’t feeding my growth but hiding from the need to go deeper into myself, to untie complex knots that held me hostage. Now, I find slow, mindful movement, tuning into each muscle, my breath, my mind, taking time and really listening to I need gives me a rich and nourishing meal. Aiming for nothing other than meeting myself where I need to be in that moment. And the next when it arises. Still, the body in the painting hovers, peacefully. I feel an affinity with that body, that work. I google Vincent and see that yes, the painting came from a photo. Of Vincent. By Vincent as possibly the painting is too? And Vincent has founded Hañsa yoga, which has a podcast. I listen to it, and the episode I hear first nails where I am. Cont below

The start of 2020 has been an amazing shift. I headed into 2020 with intention, surrounded by beauty and creation to massive proportions. As I was just in awe of the mountains, completely aware of their presence, I took a deep breath and popped into Eka Pada Koundinyanasana. (Thanks Dad for catching this moment 📷) ⠀⠀ Now, this isn’t a pose I usually can just hop into but I was soo aware of everything around me and in me, so much so that I was so grounded and focused that I was able to fly. ⠀⠀ This reminded me that I can do anything if I do it with pure intention and am in line with the Divine God, grounded by his Love. ⠀⠀ What are you becoming aware of this week?
