First of all, it is HUGE. Plan to share this baby. It fed my family of four and we *could* have shared it with even more people. (I said “could”... we certainly didn’t *want* to.) . Why only 9/10? I’ve had better cinnamon rolls in my life. HOWEVER, I maintain the opinion that this is THE best cinnamon roll on Disney property. I think it puts the Gaston’s Tavern cinnamon roll to shame. . Bottom Line: There are better desserts at Disney. But if you are craving some sweet cinnamon goodness, look no further than this one. . Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill did it again with another over the top sundae! With family in town this weekend, today was the third day in a row having dinner at Disney Springs. So I figured if we were heading back into the chaos, I might as well make it worthwhile. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae is the current weekend special at Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill. It is listed on the menu as a milkshake (🤨) it’s clearly a sundae with a mix of chocolate gelato and brownie pieces, covered with chocolate shavings, cookie pieces and whipped cream and topped with a homemade chocolate chip cookie gelato sandwich. For today’s #colormeparkhopper challenge hosted by @colormemagic , we’re talking Disney treats! 🍰 . . This is the Cinderella’s carriage cake from Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. It’s a vanilla chiffon cake with strawberry mousse and a jelly-like strawberry champagne center, and costs $9. . . I was a bit hesitant to try this given that I LOVE the Mickey dome cake, and also sometimes cakes with jelly centers can have a weird consistency or taste fake. But this cake was fresh and light, without the strawberry being too overwhelming. I should never have doubted Amorette’s! Their desserts are always amazing, and gorgeous as well! Plus it’s right outside of World of Disney so it’s a perfect spot to grab a snack. I can’t wait until Walt Disney World reopens to see what Amorette’s has for special desserts, but also because I miss my OG Mickey Mouse dome cake 😭 . . Have you been to Amorette’s? This Limited Time Dessert is made up of a lemon scented Bavarian Mousse filled with Blueberry Compote on top of a Citrus Almond Cake. The carriage wheels are chocolate. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Wasn’t the biggest fan of this. The mousse had a weird bumpy texture and the compote was just too much for me personally. I won’t lie the best part of this was the Citrus Almond Cake on the bottom. We really had a blast at T-REX at Disney Springs. We especially loved our table in the Ice Cave. The Chocolate Extinction Dessert was AWESOME too!
