🌱Pluktuinieren 💡Vandaag en morgen zijn de laatste dagen om je nog aan te melden voor mijn online cursus natuurvriendelijk pluktuinieren. 🐞In de online cursus, die je op je eigen tempo volgt, leg ik stap voor stap uit hoe je in een aantal maanden een gazon of kale grond in een pluktuin kan omtoveren. Natuurvriendelijk werken en een bijdrage leveren aan het leefgebied van verschillende tuinbewoners loopt als een rode draad door de cursus. 🏵️Een tuin vol leven en natuurvriendelijk gekweekte bloemen op tafel, dat gaat heel goed samen. Mooi hè?! 🦋Voor mij is het de kers op de taart van het pluktuinieren, al dat leven dat er op afkomt en daardoor ook zorgt voor een natuurlijke balans. Zodat plagen geen kans maken. 🌸 En natuurlijk is het gewoon super blij makend om bloemen vanuit zaden op te kweken of te stekken. Er zijn zoveel prachtige soorten. En tussendoor beleef je de seizoenen volop. ✨ 💚De afgelopen jaren heb ik al zoveel bijzondere ontmoetingen gehad met verschillende tuinbewoners. Onder andere door de juiste bloemsoorten te zaaien. Ben benieuwd naar dit tuin jaar. Ik heb er mega veel zin in! 🌱De afgelopen maanden heb ik al veel bloemen opgekweekt. Maar je bent gelukkig nog niet te laat om ook te starten en deze zomer nog in jouw eigen bloemenzee te staan. Värmen som kom igår satte äntligen fart på tulpanerna och nu blommar de magnifika franska tulpanerna med sin stjälklängd på 60 cm. 🌷🌷🌷 För några veckor sedan när jag rensade bort sjuka tulpaner så sa jag att jag aldrig mer skulle odla tulpaner. Inköpen är dyra och risken är enorm. Men nu när jag njuter av krispet och blomningen så kanske det blir några tulpaner nästa år också. Imorgon på valborgsmässoafton finns de i Gårdskiosken. Ode aan de akelei en haar pluizige bezoekers. De akeleien bloeien sinds afgelopen week rijkelijk in mijn voortuin en ze worden druk bezocht door de hommels. Akeleien heb je in allerlei soorten en maten. De inheemse variant is de wilde akelei (Aquilegia vulgaris). Maar er zijn ook veel andere akeleisoorten, die ook nog eens zeer gemakkelijk kruizen met andere akeleisoorten, waardoor je telkens nieuwe kleuren en vormen kan krijgen. Aangezien de wilde akelei in het wild nog maar op een paar plekken voorkomt, plant of zaai ik de plant graag in tuinen. Doe je mee? De @cruydthoeck verkoopt bijvoorbeeld zaden van de wilde akelei.

Endlich kann ich diese Woche meine Cool Flowers auspflanzen und mit der Ansaat meiner nicht-winterharten Sommerblumen beginnen. Der Kälteeinbruch hat mich die letzten Wochen davon abgehalten... Die Cool Flowers vertragen tiefe Temperaturen, ich hätte wahrscheinlich keine Ausfälle gehabt (und auch die Dahlien sind ja schon in Töpfe gepflanzt). Aber wenn es morgens 2° Grad Außentemperatur hat, ist meine Motivation nicht gerade groß, im Garten zu arbeiten. Jahrelang habe ich das aber anders gemacht oder hatte ein schlechtes Gewissen, wenn jetzt nicht alle Pflänzchen schon am Start waren. Meist mit dem Resultat, dass ich die schönste Blüte hatte, wenn ich in die Sommerferien verreist war. Jetzt ist es eher so: Ich lege viel Wert auf Blumenzwiebeln, Frühsommer-Stauden, Ranunkeln und Cool Flowers, die alle vor meinen Sommerferien blühen. Und die Dahlien und nicht-winterharten Sommerblumen sind dann eher ein Genuss für mich ab Ende August, wenn die Ferien vorbei sind. Die Zeit im Spätsommer bis in den November hinein ist sogar meine liebste im Garten! Es ist gut, für euch selbst ebenso einen Zeitplan zu stricken, der in eurem Garten funktioniert. Und wenn ihr noch gar nicht mit der Samenanzucht gestartet habt: Kein Problem! I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by today to say hi, check out the new flower cart, and support this dream of mine 💐 What started out as a rainy, dismal day quickly turned into our busiest, most wonderful pop-up ever! I’m not sure if it was the new cart, the nice spring weather, or pure chance that we had such great turnout, but I like to think it had something to do with the cart. Not only does it hold flowers, it holds a great deal of sentimental value. It’s an antique farm cart that belonged to my great-grandmother topped with a custom display built by the one and only @joshcsmith30 using wood from his great-grandmother’s old bureau.
