It's not perfect, the #siskelandebert thing isn't really funny, it drags a bit in the middle ( but good grief those last 30 minutes 😱 are insane) but I grew up watching Godzilla movies and this beats the hell out of #sonofgodzilla any day. Ronin (1998): A+ Robert De Niro is an ex-special forces operative who joins IRA operative Natascha McElhone and her crew, including Jean Reno, Stellan Skarsgård, and Sean Bean, for a caper to steal a briefcase from a heavily armed gang. This is a terrific caper film with a classic MacGuffin plot and some exhilarating car chase sequences through scenic French locations. De Niro is mysterious, smart, and knowing. The supporting cast is stellar. McElhone is tough and under pressure. Skarsgard is cold and precise. Bean is shifty and nervous. Reno is calm and capable with such expressive eyes. The story starts slowly and methodically and quickly ramps up to thrilling action with periodic pauses to catch your breath. It is a great ride and should be more widely known. 메가 당원영을 통해 <레옹>을 관람했습니다. 이번 상영이 의미가 깊은 것은 러닝타임 133분의 감독판 재개봉이기 때문입니다. 2020년에 이루어진 재개봉은 러닝타임 110분의 극장판이었기 때문에, 거의 10년만에 감독판을 극장에서 볼 수 있는 기회입니다. 저는 그때는 너무 어렸기에 이번 기회에 처음으로 감독판을 감상했습니다. 레옹은 뤽 베송 감독의 대표작으로 꼭 언급되는 영화며, 아직까지도 많은 분들이 인생 영화로 꼽기도 하는 영화입니다. 그 이유는 고독한 킬러 레옹과 가족을 잃은 소녀 마틸다, 가족을 뺏어간 남자 노먼이라는 너무나도 명확하고 입체적인 캐릭터들 때문이라 생각이 듭니다. 이러한 캐릭터들이 보여주는 액션과 스릴, 드라마로서의 재미가 이 영화의 독보적인 매력을 더 확고하게 만들어줍니다. 영화에서 인물들의 깊이와 심정 변화를 더해주는 장면들이 많은데, 그 인상깊은 대다수의 장면들이 감독판에 담겨있습니다. 극장판과 감독판과 러닝타임의 차이가 무려 20여분인 만큼, 감상에 얼마나 큰 차이가 생길지는 말로 하지 않아도 아실겁니다. 실제로 이번 기회에 감독판을 처음 봤을때 "이것이 진짜 레옹이다" 라는 생각이 들 정도였습니다. 뤽 베송 감독의 대표작인만큼 캐릭터의 깊이와 이를 더해주는 사건들과 장면들이 아주 일품입니다. 이번 기회에 꼭 감독판으로 봐보시길 강력히 추천드립니다. 영화 <레옹>은 현재 메가박스에서 상영중입니다. #메가당원영_레옹 #레옹_메가박스관람인증 #레옹 #뤽베송 #장르노 #게리올드만 #나탈리포트만 #대니에일로 #영화후기 #영화리뷰 #영화스타그램 #무비스타그램 #TheProfessional #LEON #LucBesson #JeanReno #GaryOldman #NataliePortman #DannyAiello #moviereview #moviestagram

This has to be one of the best experience I ever had while watching an piece of heart . "Léon: The professional " is about a girl who's family got killed by the police DEA . After that 12 year old is set out to take the revenge of the death of her 4 year old brother .This also my first Luc Besson Film. He is known for his characters and his innovative staging . I would like to describe this movie as the coming-of-age story of a 12-year-old who sets out to avenge the killers of her brother's life with the help of an Italian Hitman Who lives in the vicinity of the door. You'll find out why I say 'the revenge of her brother' as you watch. "Léon: The professional " is little slow but I don't mind that because it never felt boring as this was short on film camera not on digital I was able appreciate the cinematography as film gives you the sense of the texture of the movie .the action of the movie is old school which I loved the most after long time I saw a raw, gory, and greatly stagged movie. I have to talk about the acting of the movie specially for "Gary Oldman" from the very first scene he gives you chills and his intro was one of the most terrifying in cinema history .
