I was invited down to a local boxing gym to see some of the work that they do with young people, I was shocked to see how busy it was and how much these young kids are dedicated to what they do. I think this just goes to show we need more things in our communities to keep these young kids off the roads. Big shout out to @hsboxing24s one of the trainers who is only 22 works and still finds time to dedicate to these young kids who could so easily be sucked in to a different life simply because of the area they’re from. Conversing with these young kids has helped me gain a better understanding of the mindset of the youth today. And what I’m starting to take from them is that the environment they are growing up in is having a big impact on decision and choices they make. International Women’s Day & Age Disruption: What a wonderful day to have the privilege of celebrating WOMEN past and present, for all the boundaries they have pushed and smashed to move us forward to this point. It is with great pride that I am joining the movement of age disruption, to see more women of age represented in our daily conversations and consumption of wellness, beauty and fashion. A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to sign with a reputable model agency, and this week I was assigned my first official job. I was overjoyed to have a lovely conversation with the client, where she expressed her delight in finally being able to book a model over 40! She said that agencies kept trying to send her models age 25 as “classic” and that there were not enough women being represented in the true classic age bracket. The day itself was a moment to recognise all the amazing work women do to contribute to our society… in that space there were a group of women who collectively; launched a successful business, designed and project managed an incredible shop fit out, trained as experts in their field of sale, solved IT malfunctions, curated female art, sourced and championed clean artisan beauty brands and managed sales, PR and social media strategies. All while being kind, gracious women/mothers/wives/daughters/grandmothers. To all the women over 40… We see you, we hear you, we champion you, we will keep moving forward and make this normal for our daughters AND sons. Zato jer sam veliki zagovornik vježbanja i smatram da se pravilnom i adekvatnom vjezbom mogu srušiti mnoga postavljena ograničenja kod velikog broja djece. Nije uvijek lako ni mentalno ni financijski, ali uvijek vrijedi i vrati se stostruko. Lavini rezultati su odraz njezinog rada, svakodnevno, mjesecima bez prekida. Koračam dalje koracima novim. Nepoznatim, a tako nekako poznatim. Kao da oduvijek su moji. Prepuštam se slobodi dok slojevi padaju i ostaju zamnom dok prašina sa njih polako blijedi. Gubim teret sa leđa svojih dok svjetlost obasjava dušu tu moja koja sad već i pjeva. Dijelovi izgubljeni, staza se naizgled krije. Odmičem od svega što ne sjaji i ne sije, onoga što ipak moje nije. Nalazim ga na dijelovima staze. Moj svijet u kojem suština bića otkriva se lako. Boje su žarke, sjene nježne. Želje su slobodne, izlazim iz kutije. Kreiram svoje. Svijet. Kreacije. Boje i inovacije. Želje i potrebe. Kapacitete i snove. Kutije nestaju, slabosti se ne broje, pronalazim i neke nove boje. Nova stvarnost raste, posvuda oko mene. Budim se, slobodna i laka.
