WHAT I EAT IN A DAY💜 Every day is different but here is an example of a random week day🥰 Pre workout: I always need to eat something before training but I have little time so I need something quick to digest. Rice cakes and biscoff are perfect for me, they give me quick energy and they taste delishhh😍I had this with some coffee☕️ Breakfast: I always make sure to have a high protein and high fibre breakfast to keep me satiated. This was a meal prepped banana chocolate baked oats made with jumbo oats (higher in fibre), along with Greek yogurt (protein) and peanut butter (healthy fats) 🥜 Morning snack: I just got hungry less than an hour before lunch so I snacked on these because I new I was gonna have lunch soon. Normally I add some protein and fat if my meal is in more than 1/1.5h 🍪 Lunch: I had leftovers which was whole wheat cous (carbs) with creamy miso butter beans (protein) and extra virgin olive oil on top (fats)🫒 Afternoon snack: I got hungry at around 5pm so I had some nuts and a banana. I always add a source of protein or fat (or both) to avoid getting hungry after 1 hour. I also had a piece of dark chocolate because I was craving it 😌🍫 🍌 Dinner: dinner was a 5 min meal mad with a mixed pepper and feta cream (protein, fats and micronutrients) and pan fried gnocchi (carbs)🧀 As you can see I had whatever I wanted but still had healthy and nutritious meals. Can’t think of anything, okay well what would you order if you were out? Make that! 👌🏻🔥 The way to make it healthier is firstly just cooking it at home, you get to be aware of the ingredients you’re using & less fats. Something I’ve heard at every stage of my journey.. You looked better before, I prefer the before, you’re not going to lose more weight are you? Are you worried about looking manly? Do you still want to build more muscle? Do you want to gain more weight? Etc etc the list goes on. I get when people ask questions out of curiosity, for help and out of interest.. that’s different. But not to be judgey.. f*ck that. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks! What matters is you are HAPPY! We all have different goals and happiness/heath looks different on everyone! That doesn’t come from how you look or from worrying about what other people think about you. Something that took me a long time to realise, especially being the sensitive little soul I always have been! But that happiness comes from within. People will have opinions no matter what you’re doing, or how you look. I wasn’t happy in either ‘before’ photos.. but after a lot of work and soul searching, I’ve finally found my content and happy me. So that’s why I’m not worried about those who ‘prefer the before’ because ultimately I wasn’t happy INSIDE. Also please remember the impact your words can have on others. Just because you think something, doesn’t always mean it should be said out loud. Like I say.. I’ve always been sensitive, thankfully with age I’m getting more ‘give a shit’ but you don’t know who is struggling inside. I was for a long time and comments used to really get to me. Be mindful with your words.. they could have a bigger impact than you realise.
